Check your battery charging settings. There’s a feature where it schedules fast charging to protect the battery. Turn it off if you wanna fast charge all the time.
There is a charging setting that optimizes battery longevity. I think this could slowdown the charging at times especially at higher % not sure if you’ve looked into this.
File transfer note: it’s very easy to transfer files back and forth from your iPhone and computer if you have an apple computer. Just wirelessly transfer files with airdrop. You select a file like a video, click share, and your nearby iPhones and Apple computers show up as an option to send to. My wife and I send files everyday via air drop between our computers and phones and it’s amazing.
Yeah, but it's easy for me to send files back and forth from my Android to my PC as well, so it's not really an advantage for the iPhone, especially when I'd need to spend potentially thousands in new equipment.
@@ChrisBTech I agree with you Chris. I am only noting that iPhones and PC's don't play well together which explains your difficulty with file transfers. Where as an iPhone paired with a mac is a seamless and easy experience. I hope its helpful information although i'm guessing you probably already know this. :)
Ye ive gotta say as a primarily android user, I still DETEST the notifications management on the iPhone. They just need to copy android, simple as. Like on android, you go in to an app that you have a notification for and action it, then it disappears from the your notification shade, on the iPhone it doesn't...it's very illogical, the phone should know the notification has been dealt with so it should get rid of it automatically! So annoying having to still swipe away the notification from the Notification Centre on the iPhone.
While I' use Android, most of my family uses iPhones so it was great to get a comprehensive first impression look at how they compare. You've convinced me to stay with my Google Pixel....which might be an idea for your next comparison, Samsung vs Google. Oh yeah, and thanks for showing me the power button double-tap shortcut to open the camera - I'd forgotten about that!
I hadn't even considered Pixel vs Samsung but it's actually a great idea... Much like the Apple people, I'm a bit entrenched in the Samsung ecosystem with my watch, buds, and use of some of their apps like Samsung health, but you can get that on Pixel (and even iPhone)
Been using both systems many years. Nowadays I use the iPhone as the primary device, because it just works. To many options and security/spy issues with android.
😂Security😂 But your government is watching you. Just believe me. As for security issues, it depends on how you use it. I'm still using the Galaxy Note 9 and it's still safe. My money in e-wallet or mobile banking is still intact unless I spend it.🤭
The Legend went like this: NO BUGS, NO APP CRASHES on iOS... LOOOOL camera died so many times on my side more than the older samsung did. Also, don't you miss not having a pause for video recording on the iPhone? I do!
I've been an android user since 2015 i only tried iPhone but as a techie person i know iPhone is a great primary phone that's why im planning on getting one.
I jumped into iPhones in 2020, and it's been great for me. I even bought an s23 ultra this year and sold it within a couple months (after I satisfied my curiosity of the zoom feature).
You will gain freedom and money in your pocket from not being locked into Apple's ecosystem and not having device choice if you wanted to switch from Apple to Android. I do hope Samsung fixes the shutter lag and also syncs notifications across devices.
As an Apple IPhone/Mac user this sounds like a nightmare. Stay with what you know. Samsung makes a solid phone & camera and I’m sure the next gen phone will be great also.
I was Android until 2020, then I tried iPhone. I stuck with iPhones until this year (I purchased the the s23 ultra). The only thing the ultra had that outdid the iPhone pro max's was the zoom feature. Other than that ois is much easier to work with to me.
I was forced to use a Macbook 15-10 years ago, and learned to despise Apple and their products. After that I never used, and will never use, an Apple product again.
If Mac is so bad, why is Microsoft copying pretty much every feature in Windows 11. I switched to Mac 15 years ago and about 6 years ago wife said she wanted Mac. I Quote her here “It just works.” Before she would get update from Microsoft and it would change/break how she used her computer.
I think it's a little narrow minded to "despise" a companies products based on an experience 10-15 years ago when technology was pretty different, just my opinion! Not talking about Apple specifically...just find it a weird reason not to use a companies products cos of a bad experience over a decade ago. But each to their own I guess!
My partner has an iPhone, but needs me to get her things (torrent) or she needs to use her Android tablet. I think Samsung makes some of the worst Android phones. The Chinese are killing it currently.
I think the switch is tricky, but MacBooks are amazing. The M1/M2 is a game changer and if you like getting your hands dirty, Mac is great since you have a real terminal experience as well… I wish apple would take gaming seriously…
I'm debating getting a refurbished mac mini M2 from Apple, I just don't know if I want to spend all this money, especially when I already have a setup that works well.
@@ChrisBTech yeah I don’t think I’d bother if I were you unless you just _really_ interested, want to do iPhone development, or maybe you’ve ran Unix/Linux distributions in the past on your PC and want to see how the Mac compares. If not, it’s just gonna be something you don’t need. An apple silicon MacBook is just amazing for portability, performance, silence and comfort. And once you use a Mac trackpad, it just destroys everything else.. but you can play with all that at the Apple Store too.
@@ChrisBTech It will depend on your editing software of choice and work flow. I have owned many custom built PCs and different mac computers and edited in the majority of mainstream video editing programs. I currently own an M1 mac studio and edit in Final Cut Pro. It has been the fastest editing set up I have ever owned, it never crashes, its super small on my desk, and it has saved me so much editing and render time. However if I were to edit on my mac studio in a different program such as Premier Pro or DaVinci Resolve, it probably would not be any fast than my PC, maybe even slower. Also Final Cut does many things well, however there are things I hate about the program that I wish apple would change or let its users change.
Regarding to the shutter speed, this was also a big problem for me on samsung. and each year, with each android device I was hopping that some did sothing for a faster shutter. Recently I heard that in the samsung apps you can find and instal an app that will let you set the time to process the picture in the background. So basically samsung is also processing the picture until it lets you take another shot. This will fix your issue. This is an example of fix th-cam.com/users/shorts0QVFwurLC3Y

Proceeds to show a picture of a Model Y, I can't, that caught me off guard 💀
I was considering this exact switch...this'll be interesting

You can remove the requirement to authenticate to download an app in settings

Even though the photos on the S23 Ultra looked better, taking quick pics is highly important.
You should try the pixel 7 Pro next, greatest phone and fantastic camera
My main 3 reasons iPhone destroy user experience. 1. Keyboard without numbers 2. No back button 3. No app drawer (this includes google Pixel, too)
I cannot believe you can't add more options to the keyboard... what are they thinking
App Library is essentially an app drawer.
