nope, she actually is the worst kind of politician/government employee. sure she cares, but mostly about her own interest(wich she then tries to sell as "for the greater good") and she idolizes people way to often/high. don't get me wrong i love the show and the actress does a terrific job (atleast past season 1) but leslie is the worst person to go into politics

After watching season 1 twice and abandoning the show both time, I decided to give it another try but from s2 this time. And Leslie's rap made me 100% believe that I would love it this time. Now it's in my top 5 TV shows' list.
At the end of every episode of the first two seasons, my only thought was "what the heck did I just watch?!" I'm soo glad I kept watching. I love this show.
Season 1 feels like discount the office, and then they finally realized that their characters were so much more colorful and they leaned into
any Parks and Rec fan would tell you to skip s1 altogether. i've seen it once and never again. to me the show starts in s2
The show really hit its stride with Adam Scott. Amy Poehler is the funniest person on earth, but he is absolutely hilarious in his own right.

One of my favorite scenes in all of TV is when Ron politely lets Leslie rap the song "Parents Just Don't Understand" only to tell her that someone is on fire at the park and she needs to go down there 😂😂😂😂 this show is laugh for laugh the best of those reality-type, break the fourth wall comedies on TV. Just really well written and gut-bustingly funny
