I feel like many children who didn’t have an attentive family but wished for one enjoyed the comfort and company of 7th Heaven. I was born 91’ in Estonia and watched the show in the early 2000’s. Although sometimes cheesy or conservative, it was a show that valued loving care and kindness and I appreciated that.
Yep like Full House, Family Matters ect. Real life is like All in the Family and that's ok with me.
You can tell Beverly Mitchell is extremely down to earth even with all her success
I'm mean...she's honestly not super successful. She's definitely much more successful than I will ever be in life but in the Hollywood/celebrity world she hasn't had that much success

This was the one show that got me through the late 90s and early 2000s. Unlike todays tv style, you knew they’d always be there Mondays at 8pm after a long day at school. Thanks so much for this guys 🙏

7th Heaven is my comfort show. When things feel like they're falling apart, I can always count on the Camdens to lift my spirits. I still wish that we could have a reboot with Reverend Kinkirk and dealing with current issues. Eric would have passed from another heart attack so we don't have to bring him back, but it would be amazing to have everyone else back. There is serious potential for a storyline where Matt lost Sarah since she has passed in real life. It would touch a lot of hearts. I'm giving my ideas away for free here. Lol
Maybe Eric could be an angel that watches over the family and narrates.

You all are surprised that you made such a difference in people's lives through your show but I gotta tell you something: 7th Heaven was the first place I ever learned anything about foster care and learning that siblings get separated and kids age out because no one wants them. It then became my life goal and dream to grow up and be foster parent for teens. My wife and I have adopted 3 teenagers now! You did this! Your show inspired me!

7th Heaven will always be special to me, as I started watching it with my grandma when it first came out. I’d just moved back to my home state after a couple years of college to live with my grandparents and help my grandma take care of my grandpa. He’d fallen and broken his hip, which made his Alzheimer’s progress much faster. He always was in bed by 7pm, and after we got him settled, my grandma and I would sit together and watch the show. This was a special time for us until my grandma passed in 2005.
I met Beverly at the IX indoor amusement park, I still have her autograph, she was so nice! I still watch reruns to this day! Lol

Lucy made me feel normal because I am an very emotional character. Every role esp out of the first five kids I could relate to something
YEP. I am so grateful they addressed her starting her period because my experience was like hers but worse, I ended up diagnosed with PMDD and she made me feel okay about it.

I loved hearing how everyone dealt with managing school and work, their thoughts about rewatching the show and not thought that the show would last 11years. This kind of brought closure because the show was such a huge part of our culture.
Having the Camdens while growing up was a blessing to me. Going through my life experiences became bearable because I have you, guys. I love you and the show with my whole heart. This podcast is indeed a dream come true. ❤❤❤

I really liked this show growing up.
Back in April I got done rewatching all 11 seasons all within the month, so when this podcast was announced I was so excited!!! I’m 32 now, but I used to watch 7th heaven during my childhood with my older brother, and it was always the best! To have that bond with him during the show felt like the bond David and Mackenzie had on the show, especially when we had two more siblings and as he got older, he always made sure to watch it with me 😊

Yes you guys were ending and then all of a sudden a new season was coming and I was extremely excited!!!! I loved 7th Heaven grew up with it and when I had my kids I introduced them to it ! So to see yall older they are like huh lol I love yall!!!

This was one of my favorite shows growing up and I remember meeting Beverly at a softball tournament as kids.
Oh my gosh! This was great! It’s like the years just peeled away and they seem the same. Even David with his totally different look.
For me. On the reference of Ruthie being dark. I always thought of it as how Ruthie , Mary & Matt were dark & Lucy, Simon, Sam & David were the blondes. In my family we're like this. We're blood. It's just cool genetics. I loved how the show represented this.
Lucy had dark hair too in the beginning, but she dyed her hair blond towards the end of the first season. She would go back and forth, but she mostly stayed blond. Mary had a season or two where she dud the same thing.
My childhood was bright because of you all. When i heard season 10 was going to be the final season i lost it and cried. I remember hoping for another season and by some luck we got a season 11 and gain cried like a baby. I really need to watch it again. I haven’t seen it since it aired because I didn’t want it to end all over again. 😢😢😢 so happy for this podcast ❤

We are actually watching now and on season 8. My kids love 7th heaven. It's a show we don't have to worry what my kids will see. You guys talk about serious issues in a way that is appropriate for kids. Thank you for that. Your loved in my house.

This show was amazing, it truly gave people hope especially if you came from a terrible background with no family. It gave you a family. It introduced the concept of love, respect, family, faith, health, wellness, etc. under this christian based light, .great fantastic show. Stands the test of time.

When I found out Ruthie was my age when I watched 7th Heaven with my grandma and grandpa I was SO excited! My birthday is Valentine’s Day 1989 and Mackenzie was born Dec 28 1989! Thanks to my grandma for getting me into 7th Heaven and Touched By An Angel. I haven’t had the courage to watch 7th Heaven because of the “Pastor” elephant in the room. 7th Heaven will always have my heart but I can’t get myself to watch the series again. I wish I could meet you all. I love you all…. I’m singing the theme song right now! I have a bad memory for a 35 year old but the 7th Heaven song is stuck in my head. I graduated high school in 2007 and 7th Heaven and Reba ended that year so I was happy that my shows ended during my year. I love the number 7 so it’s awesome. Lorenzo died in my hometown of Yucaipa. So sad. I didn’t know he lived here. Scarlett Pomers from Reba is from Riverside which is 30 minutes from me.

This was a show i loved and watched every week. I wanted to be a Camden. I'm so excited to watch this and its beautiful to see the sharing of memories and the relationship between the three of you.
David's right in Season 8, he does a recap which is the only episode Bev is not in, where he talks about everything before leaving. I remember being pissed they completely forgot to mention Shauna (Maureen Flannigan) on that episode.

When "Married With Children" ended its run, your show became my favourite show precisely because it was the exact opposite. The characters were so relatable, and how it addressed social issues and current events was well done.
