The humble start seems to be the secret key to success. My own start was humble, earlier this spring. Decided I needed a change, and went door to door with my lawn mower, stihl trimmer and blower in my subaru forester 2012. Now its leaf season and I have a used chevy silverado and much better gear for mowing. Next year, am interested in the stump grinder hustle for sure. Great video, thanks for your time.

While my setup has evolved over the years, I started way smaller than you did. Great video! Everyone I talk to thinks you need 75hp to start with. I encourage everyone to get the more affordable machines to learn the business and use each one as a stepping stone.

Hello Chris, I was wondering if you would be willing to take the time to give some advice to me about getting involved in this type of work. I currently work for a roofing company and I'm looking to start doing something different on the side and hopefully be able to work my way into creating my own business. For someone in my position, what might your advice be as to how to get started, and how would you advise me to manage that transition. I ask that since I'm not sure exactly what all this type of business would entail and the time it may take to provide quality work for customers. Thank you for your time

Hey Chris found one like yours, Rayco Super 50 for 22,000. Is that a good price. In Michigan?

Chauncey Jasper, that is around the price I gave for mine in 2008 with 700 hrs on it. If it runs and don't smoke grab it up. You will make that money back so quick it's not funny. Send me some pics through my Facebook messenger Chris's Stump Grinding I would like to see it. Does it have a blade on the front and 4x4?
