Sport is sometimes like reading a mystery noval. Ya never really know. Belief, faith, desire, passion that's what can be achieved against all odds. A story to behold , and a moment in AFL history that will live on. Well done Lions , and what a great man and coach or mentor.
That's what I would call an impressive season. It brings to mind Queen's song "We Will Rock You." I might go listen to it now. Can't wait for those experts from Down Under (aka Melbourne) to write us off again. :) Next year guys!!
To see the Lions come back and win it after having a pretty poor first half of the season was incredible. This Lion's team have honestly deserved a premiership given the amount of times they've just missed out on one in recent years.
Awesomely put together, and is a great reflection on what went into what has to be one of the most amazing seasons ever put in by a premiership team. The road they travelled was full of doubt (and doubters, even nay-sayers) but they prevailed in the most emphatic way possible. I had a sense that they were going to win the GF in that last week......they were building over that last four weeks, and peaked on the ultimate day. Superb.
What a year, what a Grand Final......thanks for the year and the ride in 2024. Rest up and lets get 2025 up and running next year to get Big O that win he deserves. Up the Might Lions.

I’ve watched a few of these season review videos, this one is genuinely elite! The season footage, the soundtrack, the pressers, the journos. Amazing video!
I remember thinking our window was closed after 2022, that prelim against Geelong was demoralising and I believe we only finished 6th overall that season. To get thumped like that, I thought we were in the way out. But the switch in 2023 was phenomenal
Im a Woodsman i still Shake my head at how Inconsistent the Lion's are and ywt they turn things around so Quickly that Belief and love for each Other in that Team is Like No Other, I take my Hat of to the Lion's and there Brilliant Coach in Fages even going back to the Leigh.Matthews Day's they have turned that Club in to a FORCE FOREVER NOW. 🦁
Brisbane made every single finals series from 2019 right up until their win this season. Collingwood was in and out of the finals from 2018 up until 2023, it would not have been the same impact
so that's ok for the Pies to have the Daicos bros. Also Bne doesn't have the advantage of Vic private schools pouring in big dollars and preparing players for afl. The academies here serve a purpose to try and get best athletes from others sports (namely Rugby and NRL) Remember the talent pool in qld not as deep as in vic
