I’ve just viewed the most prestigious automotive award ceremony of the year. The venue must have cost thousands to rent and the audience filled with infatuated admirers says it all.

I was in the crowd. There were audible boos and people chanting Malibu. Mark said that the new accord is the Malibu but they must have edited it all out.
You joke, but I feel like that car because it's so old is one of the few reasonable low cost options in that left. I don't think that car ever sells for MSRP in normal market conditions.
John Davis of motorweek would be concerned about the lack of American front drive cars on this list

Already put 20k miles on my elantra N . You guys were a big factor as to why I went with that outlier brand instead of subaru or toyota or honda. I have never disliked a second of being in my car and I thank y'all for providing the super technicals. Thanks for a good year fellas

Thoroughly disappointed the Murano CrossCabriolet was not able to pull it off this year, Nissan clearly have not been taking their T supplements
Nissan should take the engineers in charge of the design of the convertible Murano and fired them all. Worst design, ugly duckling award for their useless contribution to Nissan.

I like the nerd level detail here about suspension geometry, engine design and manufacturing process you just don't see anywhere else. I picked TopGear as a frame of reference because the camera work on this channel is amazing! Then you add the sliverback Jack pieces along with Mark's tuxmat rage and Jack AI B58 humor and I'm both entertained and informed.
Idk how this channel doesn't have 1 million subs yet? Premium content if there ever was. Thanks for the great year guys, looking forward to '24.

I still stumble across their shitposting frequently on that forum, which is especially funny considering their content was a main reason I got an 86 in the first place.

I know if i was an automobile executive and cared about my company and job for that matter, I would listen intently to what you both have to say. Your critiques and superlatives are thoughtful and insightful. You have an unique blend of analysis, humor and chemistry to make this channel a must see for anyone who loves cars and the process of making cars...cheers gentlemen..

I just have to say as a long time viewer, this channel just gets better and better. I was so excited to see this at the top of my feed!
I would like to make a suggestion for next year. I think you guys should expand the awards out into more specific categories. Best full size pick up, best compact pickup, most affordable sports car, best of technology, best sub $50k car, etc. I understand you sort of did that with some of these but it would be really cool to see awards for the more niche aspects of the market. People who watch this channel, in my view at least, largely watch this because we are all car enthusiasts and love to see the different POVs and opinions from you guys on these cars. I also think it would be worth putting up on the screen the honorable mentions in each category
It would also be cool to see a tier list between all of the major manufacturers in each major category, and why they're ranked that way.
I loved the editing and the comedy in this. Editing is always on point but the fake audience was the cherry on top. Love you guys's humor and I can't wait to see what's coming next year!

Honestly i was so Glad you choose the Pilot over the Telluride. I personally think the Pilot looks good and Modern. Most other reviews still after 3 years on the market TELLURIDE TELLURIDE TELLURIDE-over rated at this point.

I didn’t disagree with any of the awards they gave. I think it is a great assessment of the current automotive market. I think 2024 is going to be an exceptional year for new cars. Hopefully they will get to test a Gordon Murray T.50 sometime. That seems like the ultimate internal combustion engine vehicle that will ever be made. There is also supposed to be an upcoming Tesla Model 3 Ludicrous that will completely change what a sub $60k sports sedan can do straight from the factory. Great job on all of the videos. You guys do excellent work.

@@jdr03272 My friend's bone stock 2018 mustang A10 just blew up at 50k, ford covered 5000 of the 10k transmission repair but sold it immediately after it was fixed

EV is the biggest automotive scam in human history and the most hateful crime towards the nature at the same time.

It's a lot like salt in the human body - some is a necessary nutrient, most people eating a processed-food heavy modern diet get slightly too much leading eventually to heart disease, and if you shotgunned a whole 5lb bag at once you'd die if they couldn't get you to an ER and a stomach pump fast enough.
