Omg can you please comment on this the next time you’re going to Hyland I was there that day and your end of the season vid had all my friends in it (I’m better than them) I can front board rlly good, rodeo, backflip, and I’m 11. Hyland is my favorite place in the world. Meeting you would be a dream come true I’m subscribed and watch every video of yours. Please reply to this when/if you go again. We love Hyland LOL
I discovered the live stream on youtube that shows the tow rope. What a fun thing to watch. I just have it play on my desk on the extra screen. The kids look like they are having a blast
I still remeber being 8 years old grabbing that rope, falling immediately and having this 16 year old kid nail me full speed in the jaw, and ride away yelling "learn how to ride fuckface"😂. I couldn't really talk for 2 weeks but that's just part of the amazing hyland experience! Thanks for reviewing us.
Yes!!!! I’m a local and love the hill. I went the first time this season a couple days ago and am so excited to go more! Edit: I went a couple days ago and got completely crashed into by a teenage boy (he fell on top of me) at the bottom of the rope and an employee standing nearby said "Now, that's how you meet new people" and winked at me
Love the video! I'm a local at Hyland. Hit it spot on with it being a awesome place if you love park. Not really much more we can do without any big mountain ranges up here. Keep up the good content! Ride on brother!
Hyland is the spot! Glad to see it appreciated. Did you ask for the spices on the fries? That's the old chalet recipe. I can testify the tow ropes are absolute chaos! But they are a blast to ride. Carve in and carry speed into them and it's continuous laps.
We'll stop the rope for you on bunny, but nope not in the park. Thanks for the great review of my hometown hill. We love that place! PS if you think Hyland is magical, you have to check out Christie in Wisconsin. Also a magical park vibe.
HYLAND LOCALLLLLLL, hyland is super fun man love the terrain park and you are 100% right about the tow ropes, its so f ing chaotic and people are ruthless on there!!
Hey!! Hyland is one of my local haunts. (I live in the cities.). I think you pretty much nailed it, yep! I counted my cuts down their longest, steepest hill on the far left, (looking from the lodge), and I think it was 13 short cuts and I was down! HAHAHA well it's what we have here on the prairie! I'm just thankful I have skiing AT ALL right in my town, but it is very very hard to get pumped up to go to one of the local hills after being out west, let me tell ya. I am wondering if you guys got to Lutsen at all? I have to go check. It's the largest ski resort in the entire center of the USA so I hope you put it on your "to do list" if you didn't get there yet .I have to find where to find your map of where you've been. Next I'm going to watch your Buck Hill video! Home hill of Olympic champion Lindsey Vonn!!
As often as you've visited the Twin Cities; I'm surprised Buckhouse hasn't visited Buck Hill. Unless you have and I've just missed that video. You should also visit Lutsen Mountains. It's a pretty decent drive up north though.
Saw you went to Mt. Snow a bit ago, could you do a review on it? My home mountain is Berkshire East in Mass but my buddies and I all finally got season passes this year!
I’m a local and never had gone to Hyland. Probably because I’m not a park guy. But your scores a pretty much on point. Checkout Afton Alps which is part of EpicPass. Or Welch Village. Also, Lutsen Resort is awesome but a 4hr drive north of Twin Cities.
Totally unrelated but I’m going out to CO in January not sure if I should go to Beaver creek or copper for one of the days. I was kind of thinking Beaver creek for slightly better grooming and less crowds? I love to carve up some blue runs
I think Badger Pass will be the hardest to review cause they don't make snow there and its in the middle of a nation park. Hope you have to the chance to review NM ski resort this yr, plan to hit those slope next yr.
Can you review an Oregon resort? Timberline, Meadows, Ski Bowl, or Bachelor? Oregon’s pretty underrated for skiing and Bachelor even has an amazing woodward park
Can we get an Aspen review series where it’s a mega review on all four mountains and the experience of being in the area of all of them and what you can do with that. Also X-games at buttermilk
Okay... The park is build to be progressive, while looking at the hill going left to right, goes easy to hard. The rope on the left is actually a slower rope, then the one on the right. Minnesota park rule is...try to never stop the rope. It's always funny to watch the walk of shame down the center of the ropes. Lol there are people doing close to 100 laps on the ropes in a day.
Perfect review. Being an old guy it’s nice to have the lift to break from the rope. I have gone early before it’s too crazy. I love how the rope makes your hands and arms 💪
Yeah there is usually a better park there because I know you like to shred park but just a warning, it is PACKED on Saturdays and just really heavy traffic in general. I recommend going on Sunday if you want to have less traffic, from my experience. Anyways, even as a skier I love your content! Keep on making those videos. Much ❤️
Bruh I got a bloody nose last time I went from the tow rope some kid cut me off then I got off and I tried to get back on and some dude grabbed the rope when I was getting on and kneed me in the face and he gave 0 fucks he just kept going up the rope
I've made this comment on every review so far. The dude will rave about how perfect the lifts are and then give it an 8 like...did you want a heated gondola or something?
No that’s not true the employees. The rope with us to people that fall if there’s one you have to instantly move out of the way and that’s the rule is it says at the front
I think a 1-5 rating would suffice. Because the variance between a 2 and a 7 for example is hard to interpret. Something being a 2 or a 3 makes virtually no difference because they're both shit. With a 1 -5 it's easier to differentiate. 1: utter shit 2: bad 3: ok 4: good 5: excellent. However, I do like ur backflips so, hey, kudos bro.

I went there for my 5th grade field trip and I LOVED IT.
That’s super sick 🤣
The tow rope is the mascot of the Midwest. It will give you a run for your money
So true 🤣
Spot on with the rating, btw the fries are really the best me and @backflipping Benton can testify
The tater tots are great aswell and they are cheap and the Mac and cheese

Is Hyland open yet this year??
loving this resort review series!!!!
Yes!!! So stoked you enjoy them!
I suggest buck hill in Minnesota. It has the city view at the top of the hill and it’s overall a good place
I cannot wait to go!!
I live like 30 minutes away (my local is buck hill), and I would ski, but it’s closed and there’s no snow :(.
I was smiling watching this review lol. This park is something I need to experience one day!
Yes! Do it 💪🏼
Hyland will never stop the rope. Favorite rope tow in the world!
It’s so awesome 🤣
My local hill in Minnesota is very similar, even smaller than highland but fast tow and mayham when there is a lot of people.
As often as you've visited the Twin Cities; I'm surprised Buckhouse hasn't visited Buck Hill. Unless you have and I've just missed that video.
You should also visit Lutsen Mountains. It's a pretty decent drive up north though.
not sure you you will ever make it there but you should check out cannonsburg in Michigan. its like the birthplace of snowboarding and had good park
if you go to killington at some point it would be crazy if u also checked out pico, there like 10 min apart and i ski pico

Shoutout from MN! Would you also review other ski resorts like Lutsen mountain or Afton alps or Buckhill in the future?
Yes I will be!

Yooo so stoked to accidently come across this and see me and my friends in the vid! Great review
Hey zach!
Hey it's a pretty small resort but it's my local resort. It's called Anthony Lakes ski resort in oregon.
That would be a cool one!
I think Badger Pass will be the hardest to review cause they don't make snow there and its in the middle of a nation park. Hope you have to the chance to review NM ski resort this yr, plan to hit those slope next yr.

You know it!!
Hyland is my local and its open already
I saw that! So sick
Do you plan on coming to Wisconsin soon then?

I feel like hylands is a good ski place for beginners. Nothing to wild but can help with progression.
I agree with that
No where stops the rope unless like 10 people fall
You gotta hit snow creek in Missouri
Check out perfect north slopes
Come to Snowbowl in Flagstaff, AZ!
I want to!! That would be sick
