Hi man :) I'm new to your channel :) I've a question and I could need some help.. basically i just replace my old keyboard that didn't have the backlit with a brand new one which has the backlit function but I don't know why but it seems my Acer is not able to update his old function keys (or the hotkeys, the f-keys) with the new ones .. in fact if I click on for example F5 it increases the luminosity of the screen but that was the function of the old keyboard because the new is different.. could you help me find out the solution of this giga problem? Thank you btw :)

Did you cross-check the part number?
There is no universality of keymapping between laptop keyboards, even amongst brand names.
If you purchase the same model number, expect keys and backlights to perform flawlessly.
