    I'll trim the tube tentacials down to a 1/8 inch for winter time so it got less action. Seemed more effective than just a regular tube

    I use the 1/0 mustad 91768 30degree jig hook with large scewlock.

    I recently discovered your channel. I live in Beaver county and recently got into chasing smallmouth can't wait for the weather to get a little better have been striking out though and not catching them so I hope your channel will shed some light on what I'm doing wrong

    Give the Diawa concept version by Yamamoto custom shop a try. It's a bit more tough but pretty much the same bait, just a tad bit more streamlined.

    Tanuki on a ned is deadly. I also use it as a trailer on a small chatter bait. The tiny tail goes crazy with the vibration.

      In my experience there are times that they want a little different profile. There is no perfect bait but if the bite is tough. I like to have a few different profiles to give them.
