The old city area, especially the original architecture and unique buildings from ancient times, will be preserved. Talat Noi District is the old city area. The buildings are original and will not be altered. Some areas around there are ancient palace areas. Near the area there is a Chinese style house of a Chinese merchant baron that is almost 200 years old. It is also close to an ancient Chinese shrine. If not necessary, change or develop as little as possible. But the original architecture will try to preserve it as much as possible. The zones that can be developed will be normal zones and business zones.
Many cafes in the area use former buildings but have been renovated to become cafes. Tree roots along building walls occur naturally. Many of the buildings were previously abandoned but have been renovated to bring them back into use.😊
it's actually so amazing see how most of the older buildings in this area are preserved so well! it really added character to the neighborhood. we've been to many hipster cafe areas all over the world but this place was def one of a kind LOL
@@MarkandElly_eats Mostly in the area of the old city. Old buildings with unique characteristics will have their structures preserved. As for the interior, it depends on some places. If it is privately owned, it may be renovated for other uses, such as a cafe or restaurant. Nearby is an ancient Portuguese settlement that has preserved its identity. At the former capital of the Ayutthaya Empire there were ancient villages of Japanese and French, Dutch, English, and Persian. These foreigners used to come to trade and some of them were high-ranking officials in the royal court. The vicinity you will visit is the former royal palace area of the Thonburi Kingdom before moving to Bangkok. The king who restored independence to the Siamese was a Chinese who came to be a nobleman in the Ayutthaya kingdom.
