Mark and Elly - Food Travel Couple
Canada
Hello! We are a Korean-Canadian & Chinese-Malaysian couple, and our goal is to introduce foods from the East to the West!
After meeting each other in Melbourne Australia, we started our TH-cam channel to document our food and travel journey. Yes, food is the reason we travel!
We journeyed Asia for months to find amazing food, and we're currently based in Canada. That's why you'll see Asian street food videos, as well as home cooking and eating videos. Follow us on our journey! :)

Can’t wait to visit jasper ! 🏔️🍜
Skating is the first sport that Mark tried in Canada.
I'd like try Jasper coffee and sandwiches.
Thanks for the recommendations I’m not sure when I’ll head over to Jasper but good to know there are good food places there😊
hahaha if you like nature, canada is the place to be! rocky mountains is something that's worth visiting at least once!
@@MarkandElly_eats yeah we live in Vancouver but still haven’t gone😅
@@linda_and_tony oh what! we didn't know we had canadian viewers! you guys should definitely visit! I'd avoid peak times because it can be pricey doe
You guys are so funny to watch. Lovely to see this clip.
You should visit Jasper again when snow is gone. You must be really impressed at Lake Jasper.
we will be visiting banff very soon! lol
Unique cuisine!!!
very canadian lol
I always no matter where I am what country I’m in I always go where the local people recommend and or I never use Google because Google reviews are from people that don’t live nor eat the food regularly to know if it’s good or not
i 1000% agree with you. I try to find some local spots first before resorting to google review. but sometimes its hard because i dont speak the language. for this reason, we are actually developing a food review website for travelers. hopefully we can launch it by this year!
Wow yummy yummy
@vs123 canadian food might not be as diverse compared to other countries but they are also worth trying 😉
Yes pakistani food is amazing....love from Pakistan 🇵🇰 ❤
I like Chinese Mukbang I see Korean shopping mall & Mukbang love from Pakistan ❤️🇵🇰
Amazing channel. Would love if you guys made a favorite spots in Thailand video or something like that. Rock on
Hi guys,, A Malaysian here.. Elly you look like I -Chang favourite Japanese youtuber currently live in Malaysia..🇲🇾
I love Pakistani food and Chinese food🇵🇰🇵🇰🇵🇰🇨🇳🇨🇳🇨🇳
we are very happy you eat Green pakistani Food .🎉❤
You guys seem destiny for life.
It's so fun to watch this clip. We'll done.
U can also try chutney with it Mint chuntney or just chutney
When I see you two together it makes me believe in true love!
LOOL
Great video thanks for sharing
How did you survive 3 years of dental school without a lamp….
where there's a will there's a way LOL
Aww kind of bummed you guys won’t be travelling around Asia was hoping for more food recommendations. So curious about your trip to Taipei you should still post it😊
we were really contemplating about it :( we will probably visit again and film again properly! in fact, we are already planning to do some more travelling in a few months!
Good
sticky rice should served hot, if it get cold, it will not be so delicous. Sticky rice will keep you full for long time, I cannot eat much sticky rice.
i didnt know this! i thought sticky rice is supposed to be somewhat cold. where would you go for proper sticky rice in vietnam?
Cảm ơn hẹn gặp bạn...
thank you for amazing food boss!
Afghanistan foods also taste just as good and im Pakistani. But yeah. Cant fault anything at all with pakistani foods. Naan breads are the stuff of dreams with curries.🎉❤
Can't believe Quist coffee is still going. I grew up with them.
The tour guide is so dumb, the chilli flakes is for Banh Duc, his english is bad too
Great vlog
thank you for watching! :)
It is very nice of Elly telling to onwer of restaurant prosperity of her business. Elly is warm hearted.
she's very sweet hearted :)
The cafe alongside rive looks so beautiful and comfortable. Wish I were there.
Juice with coffee? Cannot imagine what taste is.
tastes like bitter sweet coffee
Are they real guns?
Thai people can own a guns.
just wondering what did we do wrong? I'd like to know for next time :)
@@MarkandElly_eats When eating porridge or bánh đúc, do not pick it up or mix it to make food mortar. The food will look messy. Do not scoop from the center of the bowl as this can cause burns. You should scoop it around the edge of the bowl so it doesn't burn you and is elegant
@@trang_trang233 we actually didnt know this! haha thank you for teaching us. we will keep this in mind next time we visit vietnam!
Duuummmaaaa first rule of thumb, don’t teach your wife how to shoot a gun.
HAHAHA mad me laugh so much - mark
Guys really my eyes are filled with tears and my mind got lot in nostalgia while watch ur video food, shooting guns omg and last but not least the least jazz I tired guns in Phuket but looks like bkk have better option just exact 2 years back I was there
aww man glad we brought some good memories back! you should definitely visit back! it's a beautiful country with friendly people
Hi , may i know locations the shooting range is?
I think we went to this one! It's in the city "Shooting Range Territorial Defense Department"
@@MarkandElly_eats thanks .. I like yours videos
aww thank you! we are fairly new to TH-cam so we are always trying to improve our editing and filming skills!
it does require lots of skills! There are a few korean dishes that use pig stomach/intestines and one of the key criteria is how well you clean it before cooking (or else it might smell funky)
Beautiful place
i agree! one of the places we'd like to visit again because we think it will get more awesome over time!
Wow I didnt know there was a shooting range in bkk. How much did it cost per person?
hmm I can't remember exactly but it was about $200-300 per person. We also chose a bit more expensive option which meant we got to shoot 3 different guns LOL
@@MarkandElly_eats oh thanks for letting me know kind of expensive nvm😅
@@linda_and_tony hahah I think we did it only because it'd be much more exxy elsewhere (canada, australia etc.)
@@linda_and_tonySome other place might me cheaper, the one I visited was about $25.
@@zero12304 oh really?! Do you have the name?
Pro tip: Bangkok is the one city in the world u don't have to 'save' on accom!
thank you for your kind welcome!
