- Need to know how much to charge for paint party if someone comes to your paint and drink events? Want to know the market norms for a paint party business? I'm going to give you my secrets on how much to charge for a paint party and what you can do on how to teach a paint and sip class.
Sometimes when we are just starting out we don't know how much to charge for paint party. We tend to charge more or less than the market cost of one painting party event.
There are so many other people in the paint & sip party industry and we have to find out exactly how much they are charging so that we can compete with them. In this video I will reveal to you the best way to do it.

My friend invited me to a Paint and Sip party which will be on Tuesday. I had another friend invite me a month ago but it was not able to attend. I'm actually a sommelier and my friend is an artist. So blessed to find your TH-cam. Really feel God is heading me into this direction. I personally am a teacher but would love to stretch my wings out and independently earn an income. Have you ever run paint parties at individuals homes? Are there disadvantages?
Thanks for watching! There are advantages and disadvantages with every space you teach at. The main thing I would say is just try to connect with the painters no matter where you are! Your video was very informative. Do you create your own paintings for the classes you teach? Or do you just pick and image on line and paint that?
I always take original designs to my events! I don't want any issues and I definitely don't want to steal anyone ease's work! I Frankenstein ideas from other designs into an original I create

Great videos, Question...If you're the artist instructing/ hosting, do have a finished version of the painting for display to used as a guide per say? or do you do each phase of the painting for the class to follow?
I do both! It's good to allow the painters to visualize the end product, but also to see the break down of the painting, step-by-step.

When reaching out to these venues to try to host a party there, how does that work? Do you pay them in advance for the space? Is there an agreement where as long as people are purchasing items thru the restaurant you receive the space? I'm still very confused about that part and need assistance. Thanks! -Art On The Gogh

Does the venue get a cut or do you get the $40/per and they just get the advantage of getting the customers' busineess? I have my first at a coffee shop but they are expecting a cut of my fee. Any advice?

I don't know if I missed this in the video, but why do you charge less for kids? It makes sense because they are younger but they are still getting everything the adult is getting. I'm just curious what your reasoning is and what age you consider a kid. Thank you for your help and I really appreciate this video!

I've taught a handful of adult classes and ten years of a one week camp for elementary students. We puree colored paper and pour hand-made stationary and paintings. Thanks for watching! If the host can get a minumum of 8 painters to sign up and pre-pay, they can paint free! Sometimes I'll do door prizes and give the host a small gift too.

What advice do you have for someone like me who is unsure whether or not they can teach. I paint but would not consider myself an artist. I am about to teach a party as a fundraiser for a local organization that I’m a member of. I’m extremely nervous and feel like they will ask themselves “why is she teaching us, she’s no artist!” 🤦♀️
Thanks for watching!Many times, your painters are more concerned with how they will do and how you are doing. I suggest doing a Guinee Pig party first with a small group of friends or family to practice. Break your painting down be each step and write out the instructions for your painters to have with them. Remember to SMILE!!!
