This is helpful because I’m super awkward, but would love to do this on evenings and weekends! Hearing how nervous you were, but you did it anyway, is very inspiring. Thank you! And thanks for all the tips ❤
I love these videos that you're putting out on YT. I don't know why. I don't get bored listening to you as I would others. Please do keep them coming, they're really helpful. I can't do the whole 'paint n slip' thing because my work is digital but this is still good to know 👍🏿
Hi! Great info! Thx!! So was just offered to do a pizza night at a local restaurant. Will be my first time(nervous). 😂. Should I advertise and then register attendees and then have them pay on venmo or paypal? Is there a cutoff number? If 20 should Work bring help? Omg thank you!
I never provided alcohol for my events but people were welcomed to bring their own beverages! And went hosting at someone else’s home/location they often had their own drinks provided for everyone.
Did you have to purchase insurance for any of the corporate events? Small parties wouldn't require it, but I'm really curious about any red tape for corporate.
I am an LLC and I do additionally have business insurance! But the corporations never asked me for any proof of this or additional insurance. In fact they never mentioned anything like that!
@@KaylaCarlileArt That's awesome! I'd love to learn the process of becoming an LLC as an artist. I have some many questions! LOL I love your content. keep up the good work. :D
Thanks so much! Most of my corporate events come from people reaching out to me- I’ve grown my name enough locally that I get inquiries often now. ☺️ Lots of word-of-mouth and social media referrals
Maybe it depends on location- $50 was standard for my classes, and people paid! I don’t know how you would cover the overhead costs of rent/utilities/liquor license/insurance with only charging $35, but that’s for my area.

Also, Texas Art and Soul is who I’m considering learning from! Thanks for mentioning her 😊

Aww thank you, I really appreciate that! 😄 I was nervous at first that people wouldn’t like my longer videos but this makes me feel better!
Wow great idea! There's an event space a block or two from me. I'm considering doing this too!!
You definitely should! It’s so much fun 😀
I think the first point is most important.
Thank you for this amazing video. Perfect!

You’re very welcome!
What about the ‘sip’ part?

@@CourageousPainting thank you so much!! The process is different state to state, but I was able to apply online in Oregon!
@@KaylaCarlileArt I’ll look into that. Thank you! ❤️
And about marketing, how Did you bring people for the classes?
Do you do mentoring?
Not in a structured sense yet- but I’ve been thinking about offering mentoring of some type! 😄
@@KaylaCarlileArt how did you get over talking in front of people? I’m
Also an introvert but really want yo teach paint parties
How did you land corporate team building events?
Great video btw!

Why did you stop hosting these regularly? It sounds like a great concept!
How did you get customers?
That’s way too high to charge 50… 35 is a guarantee sign up…40 at the most
