It really helps with specific themes that include characters or faces, even animals.
I’m a self trained freehand artist but, you know what, this is a great method to help folks along. Prepping and ore sketching a canvas can be a headache, even for me 😂

I had 7 kids at a paint party which I was hosting and teaching !!!I had them traced in !!!! We were doing Nemo !! It was a life saver !!!
Using tracers is a great success strategy - it ensures people achieve and have a great experience, as this is an art experience, not an art lesson! It's all about giving people the confidence to have a go. People who are able to, are of course able to create their own interpretations, as she says around 6.50.
That’s cool thanks for sharing I prefer no tracing no stencils and trusting my students to create their own version of the subject matter and they feel very accomplished surprised by their own work

This popped up on my feed! I’m more of a purist and never liked the idea of tracing, but I teach regular classes at retirement homes and I have a few that I know will cause the residents to stress Lol so I traced an image onto canvases and I’m ready for our next class. All they have to do is paint. But I like how you taped 4 sheets together! I can do that with my projector!!

I work next to a bar and I got the lady who runs it to let me have a once a month slot to host a paint party i am so excited it's going to be lots of hard work and prepping for June. I am so flipping excited! How do I charge and all that lol

If you create your own design, say in Cricut....how do you print it in quarters like that to create the larger size traceable? Also can you paint over adhesive or HTV transferred to canvas? Or paint then remove vinyl to leave white outlines?
