Nice to see someone making small sculptures with a stick welder. I like to use my everlast mig welder because it is convenient but I do like burning an electrode with a stick welder every now and then
Spot welder/stick welder you should be able to find one for cheap in your local classifieds, tonnes of info on Google of how to use. Make sure you wear a mask.

Looks great. I'm not sure how you can hand hold those pieces while welding. I always use gloves whenever I weld with my everlast stick welder.

Can you weld any type of metal with the stick welder or does it have to be certain kind and does each peice have to be the same type of metal
question generally the stick should be same metal as the object you are welding, welders use many types of sticks.

Without gloves, I can make it faster. I suggest you guys wearing the gloves. We've been welding for years, so it is a not big deal for us.
