@@twicetheharmony Oh, I wouldn't normally make suggestions, but looking at the music you have been playing on your channel: quite a bit of early 90s stuff, which is when I was about your age... Even though some of the music I listened to back then had contents that I wouldn't be keen on my kids listening to, I was always a big fan of the Levellers. The "Levelling the Land" album was pretty huge in the UK indie rock scene of the time, and is one I still come back to regularly. Another of my favourite records (and artists) is "24 Hour Revenge Therapy" by Jawbreaker. Those guys influenced a lot of bands that came in the later emo-punk scene in the late 90s, early 00s... But just keep on playing music that speaks to you! When a band does a cover, I think it's important for the artist to interpret it with their own unique voice. I think that comes across as more impactful if it is a tune that you really love.
It is an effects pedal. I use the Behringer SF300 Super Fuzz, it is based on the Boss FZ-2 which in turn was based on the Univox Super Fuzz. According to some sources, this Behringer pedal is one of the best-selling effects pedals in the world.
