The Porsche 917K and the GT40 both belong the the NSR Classic range of slot cars. The range all have sidewinder motors in them. Earlier ones had 20K shark motors in them, but all new ones have the 21.5K shark motor.
Yeah that’s what I noticed as well. Was driving the 917 at the club yesterday and I think it’s my favorite car now lol. Not the fastest but it seems to handle very well. Probably because I left it alone haha
I will have to look up the plafit. First I’m hearing of it. What tires do you like to run ? I have had good results with nsr tires on plastic tracks like ninco and policar
Policar is probably the best you can get. I only race analog. So digital features don’t really matter to me. But yeah most people go Carrera these days

NSR cars are 💎...I run mine with no magnets..silicone tires and a little weight.
They are definitely some of the best you can buy. I have enjoyed all mine so far
