    As of now, Wi-Fi 6E and 7 have not been launched in India, so consider this before buying any router. However, the brand is promising, but the feature will only be available after an official announcement by regulators via a software update.

      I am buying this router. Can you please guide me, is WiFi 6 or 6e or 7 technology available in India or not? My OnePlus 12 mobile is supported for WiFi 7 Tri-band. Also coming Xiaomi 14 Ultra supports WiFi 7 Tri-band. That's why I am planning to buy this router. If WiFi 6E or WiFi 7 is not available in India, then I'll not buy this router. I also live in Mumbai. Kindly reply please!!!

      Thank you for your reply. I was also planning to buy s24 ultra this time, but I didn't like the overall look and especially display and it's Bezels. That's why I skipped this time.
      BTW can you suggest me please should I go for TP-Link BE900 WiFi 7(Rs. 55,000/-) or AXE95 WiFi 6E (Rs.19,000/-).
      I googled about it, but it didn't show me anything about WiFi 6E or 7 is available in India or not.
      I am buying the router considering I'll use it for next 5 years.

    200-300 down and up bandwidth is terrible for such a Costly router.
    100 meters is around 300 feet. Is your mentioned distance correct ? Please do wifi test between walls and mention wall thickness and distance of router correctly. That will give more practical estimate of how good it actually compared to cheaper (10-20k) routers.

    Wait, you got 230Mbps down and upload speed is 150Mbps over LAN and 5.8Gbps down and 3.9Gbps and you call this router good. I am unsure what is your internet bandwidth but my asus wifi 6 router (on mesh currently) performance is better than this router on a 1 gig LAN & WAN port. I tested 320 Mbps up and down wireless speed with 300Mbps airtel india ftth connection. Also speedtest results numbers are worse on wifi. My ping never goes beyond 9 ms if i do a speedtest with airtel isp itself.
    Coming to the LAN, my router has all 1Gig ports. I can see a file transfer speed in my lan goes upto 950Mbps behind my mesh router (primary router cost 14k, repeater mesh cost 8k). And on wifi it's 750 Mbps to 800Mbps up and down.
    Being a network engineer, i do not feel this router handles the network traffic efficiently. And i hate it when "jitter" increased just because of my router is bad.

    • @ProTipsss
      @ProTipsss 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also, wifi - 6 use 160mHz and this router is wifi - 7 , means 2xwifi-6 = 320 mHz. So wifi should be more stable and better in terms of soeed
      Samsung s22u is perfect for the test, so it's not a phone issue. It's a router issue.

    • @Techsmartshorts
      @Techsmartshorts  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I really appreciate your detailed feedback and perspective, especially coming from your background as a network engineer. It's always valuable to hear from someone with hands-on experience and expertise in the field. Your setup with the ASUS WiFi 6 router certainly seems to be performing exceptionally well, especially considering the speeds you're achieving on both LAN and WiFi, as well as the impressive ping times on your Airtel FTTH connection.
      Regarding the router I discussed in my video, the performance metrics I mentioned, such as 230 Mbps down and 150 Mbps up over LAN, along with 5.8 Gbps down and 3.9 Gbps over WiFi, are based on the specifications and tests I conducted. However, as you pointed out, there can be significant differences in performance based on various factors, including the specific hardware, network setup, and environmental conditions. The issues you raised about jitter and the comparison with WiFi 6 and 7 are particularly insightful.
      As a fellow network engineer since 2005, I understand the challenges in capturing every specification and detail in a single review or test. It's a learning process, and as I am at the beginning stage of my TH-cam career, there's always room for growth and improvement. Your input is incredibly helpful, and I will make sure to incorporate a more comprehensive and detailed analysis in my upcoming videos.
      Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and for your support. It's interactions like these that enrich the content and help me provide more value to viewers like you.👍

      @ProTipss Which WiFi Router are you using to achieve those speeds? Are those consistent speeds?

    • @ProTipsss
      @ProTipsss 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@DarkSideReviewer Asus AX3000 is my mesh master router and Asus RT-AX55 is my mesh node. However my mesh master and node is connected by both LAN backhaul as well as wifi6 backhaul.
      My LAN file transfer speed is rock solid (i have Synology NAS DS423+ as a file and media server), however the WAN speed varies depends upon how my ISP performance. However, mostly it's stable on WAN as well.
      I would suggest, try this setup. You will not regret. You will also get 3 available LAN port in your master router and 4 available LAN port in the mesh router.
      And please use CAT-6 or CAT-7 or better cable to get a better consultancy.
