I actually love gabapentin and I find them to be quite recreational. They are indeed anti seizure medication. Specifically, they are a calcium channel blocker. Calcium is excitatory and calcium blockers block the excitatory effects of calcium. In other words, they slow neuronal activity. Larger doses can make you feel pretty drunk. Whereas lower doses just sort of take away anxiety and maybe give you a little bit of motivation or energy. There is an art to them. They don't always work the same way. They're a bit unpredictable. They take about 3 hours to kick in. It's best to take it in stages. Because the body can only absorb so much at once. But yeah, I love it. The closest thing I could compare it to is being sort of like GHB. There's also a statistic I've heard that only about 10 or 15% get a recreational effect off of it. But I think that's more dose dependent and things like that. And as I said, they're unpredictable. so sometimes you barely feel ****
Honestly the only downside is that your tolerance gets really fucked fast, I started at only one 600mg pill but as the days went on I took more, it got to a point where I'd be taking 40 pills one day, take a day off, then do 30 the next. This was during my peak drug use, I even got a script for it but quickly got it taken away after like 3 months and I was calculating that shit, I figured there was a months worth of pills in each bottle so that's when I get them refilled, but psychiatrists are smart as hell and somehow caught on. All in all, if I had access to it still it would still be my drug of choice, and this is after doing pretty hard shit like meth (personally didn't like it, didn't do much to me). Also yeah gaba makes you a fucking god at video games, then again no matter what you do gaba makes you feel like a god in general

Gabapentinoids are really interesting, on my list they are on the same level as benzos in terms of relaxation, potential euphoria etc. Lyrica is very popular here in Germany, especially opioid addicts use it to keep withdrawals away.

It's more likely that pregabalin would be used for seizures, gabapentin aren't strong at all.
