Most likely if this outage is happening for more than 48 hours, it’s probably out of Roblox’s control and might be something with their outside data servers or just anything not within roblox headquarters

Well if the so called ”breach” is really something that even with the third day they didnt take it off, then it must be compiling to everyone within the staff team and dev team of roblox themselves, it wouldnt take that long to fix the site even tho it still half works, but as i see it probably might just be a issue over hardware containing most structures in the roblox site/app, and as developers know, when the whole hardware bugs out/breaks really badly, it is *extremly* hard to remake it as it was, including if it had lots and lots of servers running along-side it.

This had to be a server hardware issue. What i think is that servers overheated because of high player influx. It couldn’t handle it.

Well...ever since Roblox got down for me, people have also been making predictions that the chiplote event has something to do with the outage...I know Roblox said "It had nothing to do with any crossovers or experiences" but people are also saying that the event has made a critical bug, maybe breaking the game. i think that's also what could of happened...

The way he just walks around in the broken game totally normally. (I believe this was around 15-18 hours after the outage where pc players had VERY limited access to VERY broken/buggy games, instead of no access at all. It was good to play pizza place without items or money and the build half broken and my avatar not loading and mount Everest with no fall damage nor fog nor name tags. I couldn't find field trip z, my main game to play sadly, nor world of magic) And yes he tricked me with the old footage I thought that he took it during the time when Roblox was broken and down but some players had very limited access to the website.

It definitely feels like something way more serious is going on behind the scenes. The site has gone down before but only for a few hours. We have gotten very little info from the official Twitter other than “We think we have figured out the issue and it should be back up soon” and that was posted yesterday and it’s still down. I feel like either the servers have finally kicked the bucket or something else majorly bad is happening and they don’t want to cause panic.
Seems like the IT guys at ROBLOX are having a really bad day, when this happens IT guys are already probably gonna be in a really bad mood, and they’ll be under enormous pressure. Not to mention all the revenue that’s on the line.

I opened the Editor Tool on the Maintenance Site and found a script which says something about an countdown and there are actually Days, Hours and Minutes scripted in. Pretty mysterious lol
They tweeted out that they believed they found the issue, like a few minutes ago but it was deleted. So, either way, its probably not coming back for another day or less
My theory is that all the extra traffic from Halloween and the games that are doing Halloween things, the Chipotle event, and all the extra ads on the website because of Halloween caused the servers to essentially implode on themselves.
i was playing tower battles when this happened and it was weird,first the chat stopped working,then the avatars just turned all into noobs,and then after that the site became unusable
to be honest im just kinda worried about roblox itself I never thought any outage could get this bad because I have never seen anything like this before
I like how some are concerned for their adopt me streaks and such but think that some people(including me) have lost their accounts cuz we typed in random numbers for the password as kids.

The way he just walks around in the broken game totally normally. (I believe this was around 15-18 hours after the outage where pc players had VERY limited access to VERY broken/buggy games, instead of no access at all. It was good to play pizza place without items or money and the build half broken and my avatar not loading and mount Everest with no fall damage nor fog nor name tags. I couldn't find field trip z, my main game to play sadly, nor world of magic)
And yes he tricked me with the old footage I thought that he took it during the time when Roblox was broken and down but some players had very limited access to the website.

It definitely feels like something way more serious is going on behind the scenes. The site has gone down before but only for a few hours. We have gotten very little info from the official Twitter other than “We think we have figured out the issue and it should be back up soon” and that was posted yesterday and it’s still down. I feel like either the servers have finally kicked the bucket or something else majorly bad is happening and they don’t want to cause panic.

My theory is that all the extra traffic from Halloween and the games that are doing Halloween things, the Chipotle event, and all the extra ads on the website because of Halloween caused the servers to essentially implode on themselves.
