I have the same one but it on the instructions its suggests you keep the top hole at water level and yours is fully submerged.. I guess this is to aid in some fresh air circulation. so mine the hole on the top is half way submerged. This item is so well made its a steal..get xtrs if you can.
These work very well love this egg Tumbler its build quality is unmatched for the price.... yes definitely a steal. Thanks for checking out the channel and commenting Subscribe if your enjoying the content👍
I bought that exact one and the holes are to big. The eggs fall through the bottom and flow out the top. You need to add a fine mesh to stop it. Don’t waste the money .
How do you deal with 2 always going to the top and getting stuck and the rest on bottom not moving. If I turn it up they move around but the 2 always get stuck up top.
Try taking the sponge out of the bottom of the egg Tumbler.. try raising or lower The depth of the egg Tumbler in the aquarium.... I guess the only time I run into this is if I have multiple spawns in the Tumbler like 1st spawn might be older than the other one
@@baircichlids5350 I removed the stone left just the hose bubble in the tube and it worked perfectly. The 2 still stay near the top most the time but at least the other 9 are tumbling. It's all one spawn maybe 2 are more mature lol they are shaped a little different.
So eggs that are bad or unfertilized will be white in color or sometimes they will have a line in the middle of the egg. Eggs that are fertilized have a tan color to them
@@tdsmagikz9844 I've had no experience with pleco eggs I just started a new breeding group of bristlenose plecos but everything that I've seen is that they take care of it on their own.
Just started breeding plecos this year and it works best if you just let the male take care of everything and in 5 to 10 days you can remove them otherwise these egg tumblers do work for the pleco eggs good luck

The egg Tumblers are amazing and easy to clean just soak in a light bleach solution. Triple rinse before use

Plus the valve it comes with is cheap and doesn’t work properly.
