Seated Tai Chi for beginners and seniors

  • Working with people with chronic conditions I found that there is a lot of evidence showing the health benefits of Tai Chi and Qi Gong and I include some of these movements in my classes.
    SOME BENEFITS MAY INCLUDE
    Improve muscle strength
    Improve balance, mobility and posture
    Improve co ordination
    Reduce stress and anxiety
    Increase confidence
    Help regulate breathing and lower blood pressure
    A fun social outing
    I have studied Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Seated Yoga and Qi ball exercise and see the benefits everyday in my classes not only for beginners, but seniors and also those with limited mobility.
    This is a modified class that you can do at home with just a comfortable and safe chair, and hopefully it will allow you the confidence to one day join some of the wonderful full Tai Chi classes that fun in the community.
    My goal with my videos is to use my experience to help you exercise at home for better health and independence and I hope you enjoy.

    WOW YOUR REALLY GREAT!! My husband has Parkinson's Disease & on Aug. 20, 2021 also suffered a stroke. Your Ti-Chi class is JUST WHAT "WE" needed so that he does not fall & yet get his Ti-Chi for his Parkinson's Disease into his life.

    This was very effective. I'm 69 and really enjoyed this. Feel much more relaxed now. Thank you for a great video.

    Thank you for this video, I have always wanted to try these exercises and I needed to relax as I have been tense for like a week now, I found this video and I was able to follow it and your voice and calmness help so much, I was so relaxed at the end and I enjoyed this very much.
