Cooley's reviews are informative, insightful, and god damn hilarious. I watch these to put me to sleep at night!!! I test drove this T5 a few years ago and I was impressed by its performance.
Volvo's seats are the best and make awesome highway cruisers. Also the S60 was the only european car to get a "Good" in the new IIHS test. Volvo For Life!

"From too close... to too dame close!" Having a giggle-fit over here xD Mr. Cooley is the best :D
Brian Cooley has come a long ways I love his reviews. He was part of a morning R&B/Hip Hop radio team in Los Angeles back in the day. Yes I said R&B/Hip Hop! he was very funny back the too.
Cooley takes a bit to get used to -but once you do, you find other reviewers to be insufficient relative to his technical knowledge, clarity, thorough efficiency, and little bits of humor that comes out from nowhere.
George Snyder Of course not. My point was once you get used to him, he's actually a likable and comparatively robust reviewer vs. tons of junk reviewers out there. Where btw is his info inaccurate on this vid? I don't doubt the man's imperfect, but just curious.
Cross fingers when the PCV system will clog up, even with very low miles. After 2010, several car makers, Volvo, Audi, Bmw and others, used a PCV system that was badly designed and would start clogging ever before 30000 miles. The consequence is a sudden important oil consumption, which is is not corrected immediately - by replacing the PCV with a improved design, will cause piston ring and rod bearing damage, causing the engine to fail. Audi and Bmw are well aware of the issue and will repair the car without questioning but Volvo, with the now their proverbial attitude of denial (think ETM or XC90 T6 transmission) will blame the customer and deny any responsibility. Why Volvo doesn't discard their Management team and hire responsible people, it's a mystery.
I’m under the impression they sourced from the same manufacture. Or the PCV system is just another stupid thing emission controls had to tack on. (Can you tell ive had pcv failures in multiple cars?)
The led on the remote is a great idea! I don't like how my car right now has absolutely no acknowledgement of locking other than flashing the lights only one time and never again.
Any engine with an even number of cylinders should be smoother than ones with odd numbers of cylinders. With six cylinders, the forces of each piston are cancelled out (three up at once and three down at once) where as a five cylinder has one piston that is not cancelled out by another, and creates a bit more roughness.
Well Ford basically took more technology than gave back to Volvo. For example, the body on current Fords are all Volvo bodies slightly modified with cheaper parts and a heavier weight. Volvo is a really good company. I really like them more than anything else.
I think the front grill area looks very bleh, sorta like a hyundai elantra, but the rest of the car is really sharp looking, they just sorta dropped the ball on the front.
I remember the s60 they presented it by showing the emergency auto brake tech at about 15-20 miles per hour. it failed the test in front of the entire media hahahahaha

*damn
Enjoyed this for the great commentary - appreciate a more practical, direct, objective and no-nonsense review. Well done dear Sir !
"Don't buy a 3 series." *shows picture of 1 series BMW* come on. It cannot be that hard to find a picture of a 3 Series BMW.
I know, right? I'm surprised that nobody noticed before they uploaded the video!
I know right? Wow, a couple of errors ticks you off? Come on.
Its a 1m
They are same crap anyway, sorry
I really like this guy's review I am planning buying a T6 so his inputs are appreciated.
LOL 0:22 I didn't know Volvo was spelled Volovo....
Lol

Talking about the 3 series, and laying over videos and images of the 1 series.
Please do a review for the 2017 Volvo s90
Cooley Rocks on the car reviews again ! ;)
its better looking than the germans
the intro proposal... one of the main reasons i would wanna buy the s60
Lmao I like this guy he adds a bit of humor to automotive reviews. "Look out for the buggy man in the back seat"!

Maybe, but confidently delivering inaccurate data does not make it more accurate.

Alex on Autos is great
Cooley you have a fan club!
Gear shifter lights up at night! Looks amazing
Yeah he clearly didn't drive it at night, the shifter looks awesome
Cooley is Back.... i have restored the faith in humanity again ..
COOOOOOLEY!!! Good review!! T5's haul ass when tuned right.
I love this man!
"Look for the Boogeyman in the back seat." LOL! Cooley cracks me the hell up!

Time to own this machine..❤
Best in its class
he's the only reason i'm subbed to cnet.. 100 times better then all the other vids lol
The led on the remote is a great idea! I don't like how my car right now has absolutely no acknowledgement of locking other than flashing the lights only one time and never again.
lol@ Quaker pews. Nicely done, Brian.

love s60 wow what a car
I love it!
What is that dope ass song playing when he's talking about the key
Wooh that looks just like the iDrive setup
more specifically, the ultra rare 1m!
Fun to watch Cooley
thank you for sharing that this is graet news.
3:20 look for the boogie man in the back seat lol!
He said "Quaker pews in old churches", hilarity at it's finest.
Omg you're awesome
Is the T6 smoother than T5?
The First car they are showing is not actually a 3 series, but a 1 series coupe.
that was not a 3 series, it was a 1 series
Volvos have gotten so good looking in the past few years!
Volvo. for life.
Like BMW, Their North American customer center is in New Jersey, where they send test cars to reviewers.
it is cause they spin at the same rate as the shutter speed in the camera.
why were they showing the 1m instead of the 3 series at the star?? very good cnet! hahaha good editing! but i love your reviews
review the polestar version, and then review a golf tdi
Volvo has come a long way. Much better visuals, interior and engines. Only thing id like too see is More Room
"To close... to damn close"
LOL have a happy Weekend :)
2013 volvo s60 t5 premier vs 2014 ford fusion titanium , same price, both less than 20k miles which one to chosse i love them both.
CubanBeast volvo
Great video! Look out for the boogeyman in the back seat.
Volovo @ 0:23
Well, I like it. 6.6 s to 60 mph - when I was a kid, only sportscars did that!
Should look at the t6 then
He said it had great seats tho
Brian Cooley is a funny guy.
The S60 is actually made in Ghent Belgium.
Chinese ownership only. Geely has a lot less influence on Volvo than Ford. In a way, Volvo is now more swedish.
Wow that's crazy but true dvds are retro
Yeah Belgium to.
He's been back for quite a while. Search for Bentley Continental GT.
@leonxl that's Saab
Volovo .. Sounds like a guy trying to say Flafel after consuming 4 liters of tequila :D
Well Ford basically took more technology than gave back to Volvo. For example, the body on current Fords are all Volvo bodies slightly modified with cheaper parts and a heavier weight. Volvo is a really good company. I really like them more than anything else.
The "3 series" in the beginning was a 1 series...
yes it is its swedish
cooley is funny as hell!!!
lol that was a 1 series at the beginning
Really Cooley? That was a picture of a 1-series, not a 3-series.
I think the front grill area looks very bleh, sorta like a hyundai elantra, but the rest of the car is really sharp looking, they just sorta dropped the ball on the front.
Brian is the American Jeremy Clarkson
I remember the s60 they presented it by showing the emergency auto brake tech at about 15-20 miles per hour. it failed the test in front of the entire media hahahahaha
On the title on the Video it says Volovo :-)
That's like saying Jaguars are Asian because they're owned by an Indian company. They're just not.
Didn't Volvo stop producing cars??
“Throttle response is too twitchy in sport mode”. Shouldn’t a sport throttle be twitchy and responsive?
I think he just feels something is mildly off about that mode. He should try the Polestar. These are really cool cars
Brian Cooley hates Volvos
That's a 1 series at the start of the video..
the first car was a 1-series...not a 3
from 0:00 to 0:05 that was a 1 series not a 3 series...
Why does the boogie man look like the Quaker oats guy?
Anyone notice the NJ license plate? haha
that's because they forgot to turn it on
lol one of the funniest XD
Did this guy EVER actually like a car he reviews?
it's his job to critique. he seemed to really like Jetta TDI and GTI overall as cars
or you could check out the new saab......DAMN IT!
Ouch. well that was a shock to their system. lol
4:35 It's wheels don't even spin *_*
Only 20/29?
FUCK that.
of course, i put "new" in the comment now
i don't agree with him .. i like the design (:
you spelled Volvo wrong. 0:20
No, they're Swedish
>3 series
>shows 1 series
Congrats, now get "first" on a MinnesotaBurns or Nintendo video. Have fun completing that task. :P
Still made in Torslanda Sweden, and they will not change anything.
not a bad car, but id take a 740 turbo over this any day.
Whoever edited this video needs to get fired. Thats a 1 series not a 3 series and its Volvo not Volovo
It's is lol. Us people don't know the difference anyway.
Hahaha, seems like this video is meant to talk negative of this Volvo car rather than positive. So much for a "great Volvo T5". My goodness.
This reviewer needs to slow down his pace, boy he is talking fast.
