Don’t forget, in this game tail cutting is a thing on dragon enemies. Nice weapons hidden in those tails. That merchant drops the katana. You need armor. You can upgrade it in this one(not boss armor). Meeting Bishop Havel for the first time! Brutal. Meeting Solaire! Wholesome. Praise the sun 🌞!
Ah sick cheers mate! I don’t realise all tails were weapons that’s awesome!!! I’ve still gotta go back this bit as after I ended that knight I never even carried on down that way 🤦🏻♂️🤣 thanks for watching mate 🌞
Even after all this time I lesrn something from watching your video, I saw I part where you would jump off the bridge and grab the ring before the black knight. I've played through dark souls more then I'd like to say and I'm just shocked that I'm still learning after all this time. I love it!!
I love this video! As a dark souls player and player of FS games. It's always nice (and funny) to see people play their cards in the more classic soulsbournes 😂😂
awesome!! nice to see people enjoying the original!! i started playing each of them years ago and then quit. i started elden ring but got stopped by a tough night enemy in stormveil. decided to git gud by playing the originals. beat them a few times then went back to Elden ring and finally finished it and the dlc.
Ah awesome man!!!! Did you enjoy Elden ring and dlc when you went back to it? I’ll be doing some more Elden ring challenge runs on stream soon. I’m loving dark souls 🫡🦊
The reason you had 10 flasks is that the fire link bonfire has a fire keeper that kindled the bonfire, you can kindle bonfires only when human to increase your estus flasks up to 10 at all bonfires but need an item later in the game to kindle them any more
As a bit of a Souls oldhead, it does my old bones good to see players who never touched it giving it a chance after Elden Ring. Dark souls rewards patience and persistence. Patience is the mother of Mastery, and with patience the game will challenge, and reward you, if you are persistent.
Ah cheers mate!!!! I really enjoying it mate tbh. I’ve quickly learnt patience now I’m a little further. Especially with the boss fights 🤣 thanks for watching mate 👍🏼🦊
I think you just got to plan out your routes before venturing into the world, I take it from boss souls made, and go from least boss souls earn to higher. This would make every boss you battle at their level or just a bit stronger, of coarse taking your time to farm Titianite then After larger titianite by the time im entering anor londo I have +2 flask and +10 primary.
Aw nice mate. I think where I’m playing blind atm I’m enjoying all the suprises and stuff I did quickly (kind of learn) to go back a few places later on as well ha ha
Yeah I started with bloodborne then played Dark Souls. It was brutal. The undead merchant drops a katana if u kill him. I love the response to meeting Havel 😆
Mate I absolutely loved bloodbourne. This is a completely different gravy tho dark souls 🤣🤣 ah is that the dude with the funny voice near the beginning? Yeah Havel didn’t even want a chat about it did he 🤣 that swing of his club was brutal. Proper felt it 🤣
@@tamaskovacs7633 all I was doing in the end was bosses in Elden ring mate tbh. But I am really enjoying dark souls. I really love the world design and the layout of it what I’ve found so far
Bro I disagree I have a bunch of hours on Elden ring and I almost first tried most of the bosses including the final boss so In my opinion Elden ring is harder
Really? That's weird. I think er was harder than any of the ds games. (Elden Ring wasn't even my first souls game, my first was ds3 and that's the one I consider the easiest). Dark Souls is hard from a jank standpoint (super long recovery on dodges, worst hitboxes of the series, 4 directional dodging while being locked on to an enemy). Love ds1 but its definitely the jankiest game with the weakest boss design, art direction and level design is what makes it an undeniable masterpiece. There is a location that made my jaw drop in awe when I saw it for the first time, one of the best moments in gaming honestly
@@cowhale2488 it may be because of the amount of Elden ring I have played but I am really struggling to move around the mobs. That’s my biggest challenge I’ve found. The world design for me is amazing tho for sure mate I’m loving it
@@aggymatt Glad, you are enjoying it. I think it's just a matter of getting used to the game, just as you said. However even with my 900 hours of Elden Ring, I still find it more challenging than the other games(I have 50 hours in ds1, 80 hours in ds3). None of them could compare to Sekiro in difficulty though. Also Bloodborne has a very brutal start. All these games start out relatively easy, but Bloodborne is brutal right from the beginning. Recommend playing all of them. Each of them is a masterpiece (even ds2, despite what people might say about it). Few game series are as consistently good as this one

It has a little bit of everything; classic fantasy, cosmic horror, bit of an eastern influence.
@@cowhale2488same here mate!! Messmer is my favorite boss to fight. Before that is was Godfrey. I really love the boss design area area of midra in the dlc
Elden ring is way harder but so is the player character lol, elden ring is the easiest simply because it's so smooth and powerful. Even DS3 feels like dogshit compared to Elden rings controls.
@@SH19922x fair one mate 🫡 I think I’m struggling a lot more navigating the areas in dark souls more than Elden Ring. That’s where I’m finding the real difficulty with the mobs everywhere. Agree with the the controls tho. Elden ring controls are way smoother. Thanks for watching mate 👍🏼
@@aggymatt There's alot more mobs and cheap shots in elden ring but with the linear levels you can't just run around alot of them I agree. The jump, roll and sprinting in elden ring is just too good where the rest of the souls feel really heavy and on edge. I'm playing through ds3 again now and it's brutal coming from Elden ring at first because everything's so much slower and more cumbersome feeling lol
