    if you record video while plugged into an external monitor via the apple camera adapter, do you get a clean HDMI out, or do you see the camera controls on the monitor?

    I have the FimPro, BeastGrip and Moment apps on my iPhone 14 Pro, but ProCam is the only one that even bothers with getting color science right into footage. I dont want 'LOG' footage off a camera with weak dynamic range and allergies to bright lights. Show me what I am cooking on screen as I shoot.

    Thanks for your introduction video. This video is very detailed. I am curious about the function of exposure in Procam 8. How long can the exposure time of Procam 8 be? Because I want to use my iPhone 12 to take pictures of the stars, the function of exposure is quite important to me.

      Hi. In camera mode, You have a "light Trail" option once in the Cmaera's "Slow Shutter" mode. You then have the options of 4, 8, 15, and 30 seconds.

    Hi Cal, I am an 83 year old man resident in the UK, viewing this video, which I found extremely useful. Simply and clearly presented! However, in the listing under Video, starting Audio Meter, my last item is "Time lapse screen brightness". I don't have Date stamp, location etc. Am I missing something, or do these have to be paid for? Many thanks. Terry Davis

    • @MobileCinematics
      @MobileCinematics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello Terry. Thanks for your question. It seems that the time lapse and slow burst options are only available through an extra payment. I remember that there is a bulk option to get both for a fair price. Hope that helps.

    I purchased ProCam a couple of days ago £10.99. What would I gain by buying ProCam 8 please, is it better photo quality than the ProCam? I’m using a 14 Pro Max I’d value your advice please. ❤🇬🇧

    I bought a Sandmarc telephoto lens to attach to my iPhone camera. Is this app the best option to use for that for being a beginner or do you suggest a different app and if so, what’s the name? Thanks ❤️

    • @MobileCinematics
      @MobileCinematics  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Marie. It seems that Procam is a good option for software. The bigger concern is that you have the right case to mount your lens. You just want to make sure that you can zoom in and out without your telephoto lens with it automatically switching lenses which isn't an issue with Procam. Yes, there are other great alternatives like Beastcam, Protake, and Filmic Pro, but you should be ok with Procam 8.

    Your review of ProCam 8 is excellent, but I watching this about after a year after it was first shown. Strange as this sounds, I am unable to find way to download this App. It's not available at the App store, or anywhere as far as I can tell. I currently live in India, but I have a VPN that connects with the US and many other locations, and I run into the same problem. Any suggestions?

      Hi Terry. As far as I can tell, Procam 8 has an update as recent as one week ago. I'm not sure why the issue may be with options on your side. If you cannot access it, how about trying Beastcam. I think it a superior app and at a fantastic price. Let me know.

    hi does the app provide saving your settings?

    • @MobileCinematics
      @MobileCinematics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi. Procam 8 doesn't seem to have a "preset" option where you can save all your settings to access easily. That's unfortunate. However, you may like two other apps similarly priced that are great and do have presets. Those are Beastcam & Moment Pro Camera. Beastcam Vid here: th-cam.com/video/HhvQO-xf-es/w-d-xo.html, and Moment Vid here: th-cam.com/video/vj_ItxZKwqM/w-d-xo.html

    Hello, do this app fine tune focus, when the iPhone is on a move? (Walking or turn movement)

    • @MobileCinematics
      @MobileCinematics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello. If I understand your question correctly, this app does has automatic focus. If you want, the focus will automatically adjust to the subject in frame as you move. Otherwise, you also have the option to lock focus if you prefer.

    Bloody wonderful video! Great app! I have tried many and this is my favorite, I photograph jewelry in a light box and this is the best app for getting the correct exposure and white balance, the ones with preset white balance don't allow enough fine tuning, I like just a touch of warmth, this app is the only one that gets it right, and the exposure setting is precise for the LED lighting, also the auto focus gets it right most of the time. Love it! 😊❤

    The time-lapse is awful - I can’t keep a time-lapse video with 20-90 shots! It has the message that it hasn’t got enough shots to create it, meaning even after 30 seconds and more I can’t even do a time laps short video.
