Spiders freak me out too yeah but I'm probably not scared of them at a level most people are (I didn't really flinch much while seeing the trailer so I think I can say that).
The reason that it looks nightmarish is probably why I'm excited because I know now that the graphics are gonna be good.

So the first trailer was about gameplay and most probably the first Main boss. It seems like they teased a move at the end, and enemies can stop you in animation of a move huh
Now onto the second one.
The second one is probably the back story of a boss from the game. Namely of Zhi Zhu Jing or the Spider Sisters, quite well known entities if you've seen any movies or drama of that kind especially Journey To The West: The Demons Strike Back. Seems like Mama Spider is gonna be the boss, daughters will probably protect her or something.
The way some of them talk, it seems like maybe one of them could ask Wukong to save and put their mother out of her misery because even they realize how ineffective and unnecessary it is that they have to do for her. That's just my speculation though
I was talking about Werewolf The Apocalypse- Earthblood, that game looks sick too.
