Bro, take it from a dead space expert. Just some tips without giving much away. Anything lit up blue on the ground and walls (lockers) are typically something to help you so don’t pass it up. Anything red means no access or an explosive to shoot when enemies are near. Aim for the legs with the plasma cutter aiming horizontally. When they drop from losing a leg run up to them and stomp em out to conserve your ammo. DON’T WASTE AMMO🙅🏻♂️You’re doing great Bro. You’ll get use to the scary stuff as you keep playing, maybe lol

you might've figured this out already, but dismembering their legs first is much more effective and easier to hit.
It slows them down by a ton and allows you to hit their arms much more precisely than when they're running at you like a meth addict.

It's always funny seeing a new player get on this franchise because you can almost always see that they keep shooting the necromorphs' head and torso despite being told multiple times not to, a cycle in constant repeat since the release of the OG in 2008 lol

Make sure to open any lockers/"cabinets" (on the wall). If its blue, you can open it. Try and conserve you ammo in this game too. And lastly, when you killed an enemy, all you need is one stomp to get their loot. Not 200 🤣

Also, I like Dead Space compared to other horror games because it lets you shoot the scary stuff instead of just running away. That level of control lets it be less scary to me personally but still fun and creepy

Here’s a tip, always go for the Limbs, if you’re feeling stressed and overwhelmed go the their legs first and that will slow them down, there’s some that crawl so just shoot their arms off.
Second, stasis is your best friend. Use it on groups to slowmo enemies and get your bearings.
Save your money for nodes or suit upgrades, nodes are basically skill points to upgrade weapons and your suit.

First video ever watched on your platform and I gotta say you really have a sense of vulnerability when it comes to dark atmospheres. But someone who loves action. Let me help as a dead space veteran that if you hone in on your general skills and play cautiously as you are, you’ll be alright. Another you don’t wanna do tho is wasting time stepping on corpses a lot cuz that’ll waste away your time of escape from a situation. If you really wanna know when necromorphs are dead, just shooting and hitting til an item comes out but don’t be stomping 24/7 that’ll get you dead in seconds if other creatures are behind you maybe. Safest way to live is following the main objectives first in the very beginning until you’re independently geared up and resourceful enough to do other exploring on the sides.
Big advise. If this frightens you still even overtime, that means you should keep pushing because Dead Space is known for helping some people with their fears and adapt their mentality much more and really helps expand your horizons. The game is also known for encouraging people to use their weaknesses their greatest strengths rather than what you’re used to usually. There can be some humor in the series that can help ease things a little and Isaac is your bestest of friends in this play more than anybody. Doom encourages glory but we all love Isaac because he faces the biggest things at his lowest. Learn from these characters and you’ll endure much more than you can ever possibly imagine 👍🏽

I don’t know if you want tips for this game but i’ll give some to help you with your run
Aim for the enemy legs, it takes them to a crawling stage
conserve your ammo it’s highly recommended to save it and also save up on money for the stores so you can buy ammo and health plus new suit levels
the bench is a area where you can upgrade your suit, guns, kineses, and stasis
stasis slows down your enemies for a small amount of time
kineses is used for grabbing objects telepathically
upgrading your weapons give you a big advantage agains your enemies and your suit upgrades allow more health, oxygen, and also upgrades your kineses and stasis
save when you can because sometimes when you die it takes you back a bit far but not too far
when you have kineses you can rip off sharp organs from dead enemies to use against other enemies
suit levels give you more amor
there are side missions but most are locked and have to be unlocked the way of the story as you progress

Yo Jettro. In Dead Space there is a useful tool in Dead space where you push a button and a blue line comes from your hand and shows you which direction to go for your mission so you don't get lost. Very useful
