loved your reaction very much Elvis was the best friend i ever had in my entire life. we met when i was 17 yrs old. I won a radio show contest and the prize was a day with Elvis but our friendship lasted past that one day in time. All the memories of my friend are tucked safe in my heart forever. dancing and singing breaks my heart because i know he is not here anymore my mind understands but my heart never will, i saw him a few weeks before he passed we had a short conversation, which i will never share again because people are so nasty and comment hurtful heart breaking things they do not know me but they still can't keep their mouths closed about things they know nothing about. I walk past Graceland everyday without fail. Love from Memphis Tn..

You’re not telling us anything we don’t already feel! Love your reactions. Elvis was an angel in human form. There’s no other explanation for the voice, the looks, the range, the charisma, the heart, the humility. Everybody feels it. That’s why he’s The King. Even the Beatles and other big stars of that time were in awe of Elvis. I’ve been listening to his music all my life. He died when I was 10 and I did a tribute song at school for him. I’m 52 now and still am in awe of his voice and songs and the whole presence. Glad to see young people learning about him and falling in love with him as we did so long ago.

I was 24 years old when Elvis left us. So I remembered watching the '68 Comeback Special' Live when I was 15. He was Truly Phenomenal!! He is Sorely missed! 😔

Great reactions Dani, no doubt Elvis is King, I was 10 when he died and cried like a baby. It is great that the younger generation can see his greatness especially in voice. When he sings it is like you can see the music bouncing off his soul. Also, very difficult song to sing for most but he just blows it away. Keep the Elvis stuff coming, you enthusiasms is great 👍🏻.
Thank you!!! Such kind words!! The artist in me feels what he is feeling when he sings, its because of the way he delivers it. He was taken way too soon, we should have had so many more years of his performances and recordings.
I was 13. I can't remember actually when I fell for this man. What I do remember is I used to call him Tickles and I would sit with my ear placed against our jukebox because I believed he was in there. So I basically been in love with him forever. I wrote him a letter when I was 6
telling him when I play house he's my husband. I received a Christmas post card back. I learned recently that all of his fan mail is still at Graceland. It made my ❤ melt knowing that.b

in 1974 when I was 12 years old my father came home with the Alhoha from Hawii double vynil album,I looked at the man in the album and tought who is this guy ? a couple of months passed my parents went out and I went to the record player and put the 1st disk and was immediatley drawn buy the Also Sprach Zarathustra introduction and then see see rider but only when he sang it's over was I struck deep inside. I switched all the lights in the room closed my eyes and immagined to be Elvis singing to the audience and I felt all the emotions and feelings that he felt.I become an Elvis fan ....when he died I was 15 and for 3 days I could not eat only cry and still today at 58 I am deeply touched and having lost him is like an endless desert without any water. Hearing you talking about him with such feelings moved me because you expressed all the things I kept inside. Thank you because you to have become special to me .
How can someone NOT get a crush on this man...WOW...His enormous talent, sensuality and charisma, were matched by his kind and humble nature and sense of humor.
If I can Dream is the song. Great song. He was the greatest entertainer of all time. That is why he is so strong to this day. I'm so glad that the younger generation is starting to know his music. No other entertainer has come close.

No doubt the world was created by God the Almighty and he knew he had to send angel to earth and a messenger to the world... our planet didn't know anything about soul ,love, music until Elvis came through, and in 24 years he gave everything to anyone who just wanted it. How much love and giving Elvis had to share. There is no-artist in history who can give us what you have given. just every year, more than 80000 people come to your grave estate! Respect to you.

The entire world stood still and wept when he passed away and to this day as I look back I still weep fore we lost an ICON of music, talent and humanity . I'm sorry to say that there will never ever be another Elvis Aron Presley in this lifetime as he left a deep deep mark in music history and a deep deep mark on his fans who adored him ; no one person could ever replace that and bless his heart he seen to it !

The King of Entertainment! Out of these same concerts in Vegas in '70 when he does Love Me Tender is really takes a lot time interacting and greeting the fans--he loved them so much. I'd like to see your reaction on that some time. Elvis was here in Vegas for 30 days straight and done 61 concert appearances. Any one can do the math!!! Artists today will tell you that their bodies and voices could not hold up to that, with the high energy and dancing that he puts into his performances!!!

Jane H commenting …. Elvis was a superstar, but he always remembered his fans & loved interacting with them, even if that meant holding up things for a few mins. Elvis did all of his own musical arrangements. There are some great videos on YT of him in rehearsals, where we can see him singing up close & personal. I am very glad that I was alive when Elvis was alive, & although I live in New Zealand, I think I must have seen most of his movies during the 60s, & got to see him performing ‘Live’ in his Aloha from Hawaii 1973 Live Concert, which was the first Live Concert to be beamed around the globe. Your Elvis Reactions are so delightful. Thank you.

the whole 'that's the way it is' album is full of songs like this with the exception of 'patch it up' which is a bit rockier.

I have never been able to find an Elvis song I don’t like! This is a great song. Elvis had a voice I could listen to forever. He has the greatest laugh I have ever heard! He takes my breath away every time. He just never gets old! No matter how many times I hear him it never gets old!

I was privileged to see Elvis in 1972 in Charleston, WV and he was AMAZING TO WATCH. YOU WERE SCARED TO BIINK BECAUSE YOU WOULD MISS SOMETHING. OH HOW I WISH EVERYONE HAD GOTTEN THE CHANCE TO SEE HIM. YOU WOULD NEVER FORGET IT.
