I wish I could have seen Elvis sing this live in concert in 1970 but I was only 1 year old. This is one of my favorite Elvis songs and also the most requested song by any Elvis fan. I enjoyed singing it and making people happy
I lived in Las Vegas as a child growing into a adult when Elvis open at the Las Vegas Hilton in the 70s and was very very fortunate to see him three times. Elvis always gave his heart to the people no matter who you were he brought you into him and you always came away with a sense up who he was. He was not only just an Entertainer to the people that followed him he was a part of their life. A lot of the moves that you see on stage was because he was a black belt in karate. It was truly one of the highlights of my life seeing the king ProForm. And a lot of us knew exactly where we were and what we were doing when his passing was announced. It was truly like you lost one of your own family members.
I had the priveledge of seeing him in concert twice as a kid. It was amazing and the energy when he was on stage could have blown the roof off the building. Elvis was like a supernova.
Saw him in concert three times....first time was in Miami Beach with my college sweetheart. It was January 1970, before he filmed the version you watched...he did the same 7 minute plus version and my girlfriend and I WERE dancing in the aisle to this song. Incredible night....may she RIP.....

You are spot on. That is the best version. His singing and moves are even beyond this version. This is really good, but that version is my personal favorite. The shoulder gyration at the end just caps it off.
Love the split screen format you use as opposed to the pic in pic format. As a huge Elvis fan for 48 years, I would love to see your reaction to the song I consider to be his best technical live performance. By that I mean the arrangement, the musicians and his incredible voice were all spot on. From the broadcast performance (not rehearsal) of Aloha From Hawaii, the song is "What Now, My Love?". Thank you!
Yes, I like this too! I try to use this for most of my videos, sometimes to get the entire stage effect, I have to use the picture in picture so nothing gets cut out. I'd love to do that one, I've had other requests for it as well!

When he turned toward the band he was looking at drummer Ronnie Tutt. They did their best to keep up with the other. Ronnie said it was like performing with a stripper in keeping up with Elvis's movements. As was shared previously by a learned fellow the King performed 2 shows a night at the casino and some occasions three. Probably unheard of today. So you can image how by 1972 he was already bored with Vegas. Keep it up! TCB

Love your reaction. You know, a lot of people at the time thought Elvis in Vegas was a joke and didn’t give hime a lot of respect, but in 1970 he was still in his prime and had put together an incredible band of musicians and backup singers. Looks like it would have been a really fun show to see and the stage layout back then was very intimate.
Dani, this is my favourite song of all time, more specifically the studio version. The original not the radio cut. It was probably his longest hit and it’s quite unique not only for the change in time signature but also the song fades out at the end but before it goes completely silent fades back in. I think it’s amazing. The performance is great and, as a man who’s loved him for over 40 years, I absolutely love your enthusiasm for him. X
Its so different from the studio release, so superior in my my mind too. You agree? I tell people they have not heard Suspicious till they have seen this one.
I get such a kick out of watching your reactions. I watched your post on Polk Salad Annie then came straight to this one. I agree he’s at his peak here. I remember seeing Elvis, That’s The Way It Is when it came out in the theaters. There are two versions of it out on DVD. There are enough differences in the two to warrant buying them both.
Dani Atkinson Lemme know what you think. The second one was remastered by Turner. It cut out a lot of the fan interviews and added a few songs not on the original. Sadly, they also deleted a few on the second one, such as Bridge Over Troubled Water. That’s why I have both, so I can get as much of those concerts as are available.
Its been a while since I have seen the performance on film, but I think he had just completed a walk on the floor with his fans and came up to sing this song. That song? Everyone liked it. It was a #1 hit in 69. You ma'am have great taste.
my mom actually dated his cousin (family is from Memphis) and met him. she said he was super nice and polite. she later worked as a tour guide at Graceland
Can't believe this is ur first time watching this. I remember the first time I watched this, was probably around 26. My jaw dropped, and his drummer was on point

Hi Dani.
Elvis was a once in a lifetime, incomparable preformed! You're a dinomite young lady!!
In my opinion this is the best live performance by the King!
Dani I like ur elvis reactions they are very genuine and heart felt and it's good to see another elvis fan that likes elvis like I do Dani u are awesome and so are ur elvis reactions and dani u should react to return to sender by elvis its a great song
Thank you, Jon! I love reacting to Elvis! He is just part of my soul!
I love watching your elvis reactions 🥰😍🥰
When he turned toward the band he was looking at drummer Ronnie Tutt. They did their best to keep up with the other. Ronnie said it was like performing with a stripper in keeping up with Elvis's movements.
As was shared previously by a learned fellow the King performed 2 shows a night at the casino and some occasions three. Probably unheard of today. So you can image how by 1972 he was already bored with Vegas.
Keep it up! TCB
That is funny!!
It seems as though
this was the very first time you saw this video. I am happy
to see YOU, someone from another generation interested
In MY FAVORITE singer/ person
ELVIS PRESLEY!!

For 64 years..!! I still get teary eyed when
I listen to certain songs
Or some take me back
and bring back sweet memories...I will always LOVE ELVIS
SO HAPPY to see a whole new generation likes the ...
"KING OF ROCK & ROLL" REST IN PEACE. ..THIS IS ONE
( 1 ) ONE generation,
Tell me how many
more gen...are there that are fans of
Elvis?? Lol Elvis
Also from Vegas 1970 there is "Walk a Mile in My Shoes","Patch It Up","Make The World Go Away","I've Lost You","Stranger in the Crowd",etc . You are such a joy to watch with your reactions to Elvis' songs . Your awesome !
Thank you, Bill!! I am loving this sooo much!
It is such a unique song, I love that about it!
Great reaction beautiful lady you are awesome
Thank you, David! Posted 2 new videos just this morning!
Its so different from the studio release, so superior in my my mind too. You agree?
I tell people they have not heard Suspicious till they have seen this one.
Elvis will always be "The King".
:) :) I'm so happy they make you smile, Karl! Oh, I will watch both versions if I can get my hands on them!
The best..... Thanks
Excellent Presentation 👏🎤
Elvis Rules!!’
Its been a while since I have seen the performance on film, but I think he had just completed a walk on the floor with his fans and came up to sing this song.
That song? Everyone liked it. It was a #1 hit in 69. You ma'am have great taste.
Oh interesting! I just reacted to Love Me Tender where he walked into the audience!
The 70’s had the best music , and Elvis was the best entertainer ever. The songs had meaning, unlike song from the 90’s until now.
You just had the pleasure of watching the greatest entertainer of all time
Noone say "suspicious" like Elvis ❤️❤️❤️ SO CUTE!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍
Just unbelievable - great reaction - and dont't forget he had to do this at a dinner and midnite show!!
HE Ben gone 43yrs now I love him miss him so much real fans stay with him even now 💖💖💖💖🇦🇷🇦🇷🇦🇷
my mom actually dated his cousin (family is from Memphis) and met him. she said he was super nice and polite. she later worked as a tour guide at Graceland
Got me missing Elvis more now.Humorous brilliant entertainment.
Can't believe this is ur first time watching this. I remember the first time I watched this, was probably around 26. My jaw dropped, and his drummer was on point
There are so many great Elvis songs. ”From raga to Riches”, ” Mary in the morning”, ” It’s easy for You”. And many many more. 🌹
Rags to Riches is a classic favorite of mine! I'm not familiar with the other two!
Luv u ,thx for playing Elvis
Great reaction and like Elvis u rock
Thank you, Don!!! :)
Dani watching Elvis = fun to watch.
Never will be another elvis. When he died i was 5 i knew nothing but i knew who elvis was
This is why he's the King ! I grew up watching him. As I always say, " I sure do miss that man.
This is hard to watch, but powerful to hear. It's fueled by Meth, but, as Layne Stayle said " and we die young." Dani, thank you for this honest reaction, and thank you for not judging performers by their demons.
You just had to love Elvis the human and the artist.😘🤗🤩
I wonder how much weight he lost on that song alone. He is amazing! If you like this, performance get “Elvis, That’s The Way it Is”.
Yes, I'm sure he lost a lot of weight with all of that movement and sweating!
So interesting!
My mom’s friend, Zelda got to see him in Vegas. We all praise her as she was in a room where Elvis was.
Just loved your reaction. Thanks
Elvis was the king of rock and roll
Thanks Dani wow Elvis again
