Janne Jul Jensen - Interaction Designer and Usability Specialist
    ABSTRACT
Originally, the field of usability and interaction design was slow, cumbersome and costly. These were some of the reasons that it was not adopted very fast among practitioners. However, recent years a lot of the methods and techniques have been adapted to better fit the fast moving development processes that are predominant in software companies today. But what do you do when you can't include users because of NDAs? How do you handle the fierce security demands, that are part of your project? Does your customer really know their users, or do they only think they do? And when you have a deadline, how do you avoid UI slowing your [...]

It would have been nice to have seen more of the screen rather than her... or at least a split screen. She points to the screen frequently, but I couldn't see what she was pointing out!

yup her goto video from 2012 was the same, 1% screen, pointing to the sky. Tons of people complained about it. Seems like feedback going down the drain, is not her fault is the dumb video editors.

Overall more of a product development story than how UX was utilized.

Same, i'm just getting into it, i've always since 18 years ago when i first got into computers in elementary school, have been fascinated by computers and the internet, now, with the internet boom...i'm interested in getting into UX...seems so simple...basically your centered around the users experience and how to make it simple and less time consuming for the consumer.

It's all about the fucking money. UX steered by marketers is shit. It's not about User-Centered design, it's not about being effective, etc. It's JUST about being a proper CONSUMER. Don't be fooled!

Most people running a business do it for making ' fucking ' money. I wonder what someone talking like a teenager is doing here.

You are excessively misguided in marketplace device interaction expectations in regards to maintaining different UX UI navigations for different mobile devices because of the OS UI models that are in place,... There are more similarities in navigation with ui models in the OS devices than you realize,... OS UI models are but basic guidelines that work successfully and should be used, but they are not the end point for determining a superior user experience that is defined, all device UX ui should be identical on all devices - would you define a different UX UI for an enterprise application differently on a Mac versus Windows or any non mobile os? I think not - Brianui
