I think that's what's sort of strange about this new show for me; that they're showing Raylan in transition and with the changing world around him. I think it's accurate and makes for good drama. But I miss more of the throw-back "outlaw/cop" vibe that Raylan had. He was sort of like vigilante/anti-hero guy that was a bit fantastical, and that was why he was so fun!! Seeing him sort of "in the real world" in a more hardened way is interesting, but it feels so far like taking a superhero and putting him into a cop show haha. It will be cool to see if he gets some of his old tricks back. In the original, even when characters chided him for being "angry" and "unhinged", I felt secretly like we all knew that's what made him so badass. I didn't feel like anyone truly was rooting for Raylan to be less angry and play by the law all the time. I'm curious and hopeful he finds a way to get around that tone and throw down a bit more later in this show later on! :P
Adeline probably had a crush on him when he was in the girl next door. Timothy is a handsome and charming dude. He really the best tv Cowboy of the last decade

Great to have Justified back even if only for a limited time. Ironic that in the original Justified Raylan's opposite was Boyd Crowder and now Clement Mansell is played by BOYD Holbrook. 🙂
Started watching Justified and never thought I would ever love the show as much as I did. Also, Timothy Olyphant= Fine Wine..just saying. Boys Hokbrook is the most perfect casting for the Justified world. Hopefully the new series lives up to its past.
Real problem wth this BUD LIGHT show is the new Raylon. Shirt off, hat off, love scenes WTF. The waste of the Clement character indicated a shallowness of the writers if not a weird fixation on recreating Raylon. Perhaps the ending with the return of Boyd Crowder was meant as a last gasp to save this once venerable franchise, but I can't imagine the devotees of the original Justified series will ever get over transitioning Ralyon. Sad......
the photo background is great right up until you can see the ceiling. I know you probably have an Ai camera man now or whatever; but the word you're looking for from film school is "framing".
As much as I wanted to like the show, I found it lacked too many elements of the original Justified. I would still watch the show as I'm Olyphant's die hard fan. His daughter's voice is too annoying and Willa character is no where near Kaitlin Denver's Loretta.
Vivian Olyphant better save her money. I don't think she'll get another acting job after this I don't know how she got this one horrible hard to watch her it ruins a show for me when her scenes come up

To say I am underwhelmed by Primevil after thoroughly enjoying the original series is an understatement. I'm sorry that the wardrobe budget was so low that Boyd Holbrook has to crime around in mere tighty-whities and a robe (really stupid).
This should have been a show unto itself. It's okay as a show but it really does not even come close to the original justified. Primeval really has little of the real Raylan in it. Plus, the characters in Justified were just more likeable even the Bad guys like Boyd. I'd rather watch reruns of justified which I am doing now than watch primeval. I'm only watching it just to finish the series. If it were a show with seasons, i'd never watch it.
Oh that explains so much that is his real daughter. 😔 she is terrible sorry and the voice is annoying. Nepotism hardly ever works. I loved the first 6 seasons rewatched them in anticipation of the new season, the daughter was a mistake period.

Great writing, acting, and directing - a complete show! Being a Detroiter, I can relate to this season so well.
Lack of depth and any real plot made hard to watch--- should have had about 3 episodes and then moved on to different "bad guy/plot" -

So freaking hyped!! I watched the original as it aired from day one and have since rewatched three times. One of the greatest shows ever!
