I suspect you could cut anywhere from 30 - 50% most any of the prices esp if you buy bulk stuff and for things not up to as par as it seems to the eye. The best shit won't be nudgeable ie. no more than 10% breathing room for a piece, and even that would or could be high... The better it gets the less wiggle room to budge. Remember its really about cash for time >> you are giving up X cash now for something actually rare that will appreciate value in the future for more cash back later
@ganjacat8408 Ah,okay makes sense. Myself, I like colored gemstones much more than most diamonds. There's just more to like. I'd rather look at a well cut Sphene with exceptional dispersion and color than most diamonds. I heard somewhere that the market is seeing a healthy amount of sphene right now but who knows.
I wanna go... I wanted to go last year. I want to go this coming year. I know nothing about it and my current life doesnt really allow much travel....... but take me anyway! I need to go on a hunt!
What do you think is most undervalued stones in the market? I personally think Australian opals prices seem too low. Cant really be faked in a lab, so much better quality than Etheopian, and coming out of ground in very small amounts these days and very gorgeous/unique
Yeahhh you gotta be extra careful with diamonds its a very very shadddddy business much easier to fake stones, fake reports, the whole 9. I like colored diamonds but again you haveta be just too careful and so much fuckery with the whole thing. Its easier to stick to the big 3 of the 4 ie ruby saphy emerald and some smaller offshoots like tanzi and alexandrites, mexican fire opal, and australian black opal
I have the largest diamond blue red green with hidden photos which turn to different photos from different angles you only see photos with under light torch with some camera phones laser carving of people royal families buildings 1000s of years old from advanced civilizations
Your video is clear and very good 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉👍👍👍👍👍
I love all of your videos, I also like that you are learning along with us learning about stones. Also also what kind of camera do you use?
In general, is it customary to negotiate the price when dealing with vendors? It's a good thing when you ask about price.
Yes, it's normal to haggle in Asia.

Australian opals can be cheap but you can still get a million pound Aussie opal
It depends on the colour and pattern and if it's black or not
Kornerupine

Natural fancy diamonds for $500, sorry I don't trust that company.
They will be heavily included and weird colours
You can get diamonds that are a little strange and kinda brown and ugly for that price easy
Or under a carat
>>>>>>>>>>> THAT VP GEMSTONES> Holy crap. You didn't ask if that emerald had treatment. Some MEGA BANGERS in this one. Lotsa great gems.
