I would also like to add that tuners on this guitar are absolute dogshit. Ya, I know it's an inexpensive fix, but replacing all these little things add up. With this guitar you are paying for the body and the neck, everything else on it is meant to be replaced. You are looking at a minimum of $500 in upgrades...(check the prices of Floyd Rose Original tremolos today...holy smokes). I'll do a follow up video soon detailing how much I had to spend in order to get this guitar to be a serious instrument of sonic destruction...and I am doing all the labor myself. There is no way I would buy this guitar if I meant to keep everything stock. It could be a worthwhile purchase if you have a premium passive pickup laying around. It might be good for the following scenario - you want to play rhythm on the bridge pickup only. In this case you chuck the tremolo arm from the guitar into the "fuck it bucket" promising yourself to never use because this bridge will lose tune. You solder in the pickup yourself and you don't really care about the second rate electronics because you will never use the 3-way switch. If you want a really great passive pickup get this one - Seymour Duncan JB. I think it's the ultimate passive pickup for E Standard tuning metal. It does chugs and leads sooo well. It's typically paired with a Seymour Duncan '59 in the neck position. You probably won't need it though if you just want to pound out riffs and leads in the bridge position.
