Actually, if you're not good at this game(like i wasn't, when i played it the first time), some of the summons are actually useful in the beginning-middle of the game. Zalera with his instakill attack, for getting past hard areas, Shemhazai with his 60,000(Zodiark's does actually ''only'' 50,000) overdrive, which is quite easily chargeable, Zeromus's normal attack, which can do more than 9,999 & his overdrive, that can do +-70,000 at best. But yeah, when you have all the best equipment, magics, etc. The espers become useless, with the exception of those, that can break the damage limit & even those are only useful, when used really tactically. Most of the time, a quickening chain would be more useful or, just comboing with normal attacks.
Just a reminder for everyone watching, this game originally came out on the PS2 over a decade ago. Yes, that old console could output some fantastic looking games. All this version changed was upping the resolution on the game and textures, that's it. And these are not CG cutscenes mind you, they are done completely in engine. Seriously, some games from that console manages to shame even modern titles.

Zodiark was too powerful so to keep her in line the gods made him a baby. He hatches from the primordial sea, takes his 1st transformation and accidently destroys the nearest galaxy.

Zodiark never rebelled They crippled it so it is unable to grow into an angle They feared zodiark because it pretty much beat every other Esper in it's larvae form without any trouble
@@nightlord5102 he can grow, he grows in his special attack. And yes I know he didn't rebelled. Now be a normal person and stop answering comments from a year ago.
Zodiark, Zalera, Zeromus, Chaos, Exodus and Hashmal's ultimates are anime. Zodiark's awesome ultimate is bordering on Sephiroth Supernova length. Ultima's vagina canon. Cuchulainn's ultimate was ironic as the target was a Malboro. Famfrit's ultimate is pretty badass, but favorite is probably Exodus's meteor, you can see the trees bend before the meteor hits ground. Belias, Addrammalech and Mateus's ultimates are cool, but don't stand out. Shemhazai, shut up meg.
Famfrit always scared the shit out of me with that big waves dear Lord I even had nightmares of dropping from the sky into a sea of storm and huge waves. Scaryyy
and the most fun thing is most of these weren't even that useful on vanilla Ff XII, as i remember much better to chain apotheoses rather have all your team go away while you risk on losing the esper.
Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts - the gods kept him an infant because they feared him. His attack has a lot of alchemical symbology. * The cosmic egg * The primordial above and below (As above, so below) * Death and Rebirth * The Mighty Phoenix * The ultimate being. * F the entire Universe. Tale as old as time.

Ultima was always my favorite Esper to acquire. First, you had to navigate the damn crystal and its insanely-named levels. Then there was the fight itself, with her shifting the fields ever so often. It made for one of the more challenging battles in the game. Not the hardest, but one of the most intriguing. And I would only use Fran, Ashe, and Penelo to fight her, as I felt it wasn't right for the guys to be hitting her. As for her attack here, it seems to be one of the shorter animations. Simple and to the point.
I see.. so this is the ultimate attacks. I finish the game with only 2 times trying summoning esper (Belias) in early game, and it completely useless. No damage.. While in FF VIII, i use summons all the times (its so fun while pressing 'select' and tapping the square buttons to increase the damage)
FF12 party: "There's a harmless Marlboro in our way. How do we get past this horrendous fiend?" Vaan (because he's a moron): "I'll summon Zodiark!" *Zodiark explodes the fucking galaxy*
Exodus was the most impressive. Giving me some Odin meets Zeus meets Judeo Christian God vibes. Also: They all feel like Final Fantasy was taking a cue from Lovecraftian horror

Actually, if you're not good at this game(like i wasn't, when i played it the first time), some of the summons are actually useful in the beginning-middle of the game. Nihilistic Canvas looool haseo skeith form 😆
Aura really blessed him with Twilight Brace
Zodiark was too powerful so to keep her in line the gods made him a baby. He hatches from the primordial sea, takes his 1st transformation and accidently destroys the nearest galaxy.
I love how it's full of Ancient Egyptian creation myth weaved into Zodiark's final move. The Sun deity being born from the cosmic egg that rose from the primordial sea. If it's not intentional it's damn close.
Damn, this FF game has some creepy ass Summons. Especially the 1 with that woman in his arm. Also, some of these attacks seem just a bit over the top lol. Probably after the first 3-4 the planet would be torn to pieces 😅.
Then you see zodiark's final eclipse attack that shatter the very fabric of existence itself. The universe goes to dust lol
All these Espers were defeated by the Occuria, the gods of Ivalice, except for Zodiarc. The guys are very powerful.
Zodiark never rebelled
They crippled it so it is unable to grow into an angle
They feared zodiark because it pretty much beat every other Esper in it's larvae form without any trouble
@@nightlord5102 he can grow, he grows in his special attack. And yes I know he didn't rebelled. Now be a normal person and stop answering comments from a year ago.
@@Aomegeus no
@@xVoltKraken papa gonna get ya.
All the normal spells in this game are so small and mundane, the espers and even quickenings look absolutely bonkers next to them.
These summons were bosses in Final Fantasy Tactics
Rumour has it that Malboro is still alive.
FF12 has the best summons.
buuu, bored and ugly.
Andres Felipe Londoño Zapata sounds like a tough personal problem
Many cool design i agree but in my opinion "X" has the best summons and fight mechanics.
X' gamemechanics kinda feel like they wanted to try something new but then just said fuck it half way through.
I prefer FF 6 Advance then FF Tactics.
That moment of pure silence just before Ultima's laser beam hits always gets me
Dude, what'd that poor Malboro ever do to you?
exist
That's... a lot of rage. D'you want to talk about it?
ever heard of bad breath? they deserve this and more.
Bad Breath, Coy Breath and Extremely Bad Breath (this causes instant death in FFXI).
bahamutShin nah man.. putrid breath, fuck that.
Famfrit always scared the shit out of me with that big waves dear Lord I even had nightmares of dropping from the sky into a sea of storm and huge waves. Scaryyy
The Zodiark final is just ridiculous.
Nah man, he brought life to a new universe, being that he caused the big bang when a Malboro pissed him off.
I take it you have a thing against Malboros.
Who doesn't
My cousin and I could not say Cuchulainn at all. So we just called him good old chimichanga.
and the most fun thing is
most of these weren't even that useful on vanilla Ff XII, as i remember
much better to chain apotheoses rather have all your team go away while you risk on losing the esper.
Exodus was my favourite, that big giant meteor
exodus is so epic! that meteor... Makes me think thats how the world will be destroyed
the best final fantasy ever
Hands down the best summons in the series.
Along with 15 and 16 due to the size animations
The memories!! T.T ;))) loved this game so much. FF12 forver!
Yes, true masterpiece!
Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts - the gods kept him an infant because they feared him.
His attack has a lot of alchemical symbology.
* The cosmic egg
* The primordial above and below (As above, so below)
* Death and Rebirth
* The Mighty Phoenix
* The ultimate being.
* F the entire Universe.
Tale as old as time.
Zodiark is Phoenix Force of Marvel 😳
Thanos: *snaps*
Zodiark: *laughs in multiverse destruction*

Bad comment
Why did you even comment that???
Ultima was always my favorite Esper to acquire. First, you had to navigate the damn crystal and its insanely-named levels. Then there was the fight itself, with her shifting the fields ever so often. It made for one of the more challenging battles in the game. Not the hardest, but one of the most intriguing. And I would only use Fran, Ashe, and Penelo to fight her, as I felt it wasn't right for the guys to be hitting her. As for her attack here, it seems to be one of the shorter animations. Simple and to the point.
ForsythJC yes, a holy vagina cannon is simple
@@Arsonist_Xpert she's probably screaming "I'M ON MY PEEEEERIOD!!"
Thé guys weren't allowed to hit her ? Well that's sexist.
In my book, there's neither male nor female
Only pain 😈
Pra mim foi o melhor sistema de Summon's de Final Fantasy, acompanhado de FFX. Porém eu odiava o Sphere Grid.
LOL that Malboro must be a superboss or something hahahaha
these are my favorite summons because they use something different than the normal FF summons.
Ultima 😊❤
Adrammelech was so cool it was my favourite esper
What is the final closing videos song?
ULTIMA be like "DEEEEEEZ NUTS!"
I see.. so this is the ultimate attacks. I finish the game with only 2 times trying summoning esper (Belias) in early game, and it completely useless. No damage.. While in FF VIII, i use summons all the times (its so fun while pressing 'select' and tapping the square buttons to increase the damage)
I wonder what Zodiark will look like in 14? The camera is all shaky in these cutscenes and I don't think these cutscenes are that great.
Exodus is just fucking amazing!! OMG!!
These are probably the most unique in the series
I know it is weird, but I poured like 100 hrs in this game, but I have never seen any of these summons. Gotta go back and check it out.
Shemhazai so coooolll 🔥🔥🔥
FF12 party: "There's a harmless Marlboro in our way. How do we get past this horrendous fiend?"
Vaan (because he's a moron): "I'll summon Zodiark!"
*Zodiark explodes the fucking galaxy*
Zodiark destroy not only the galaxy but the whole universe
Chaos looks amazing
Wasn't it the first FF to change the summons from the regular Shiva and Ifrit etc
I collected all 13 espers only for the trophy and never used them in battles ... except from trial stage 100. Ya all know.
Zodiark, basically if you fuck with it it is born and destroys creation.
*Oops we accidentally destroyed the planet with the summon of god because we were trying to kill a soldier*
Velias, don't think you can escape what you did to me in Final Fantasy Tactics way back in 2000.
Zodiark, Keeper of Precepts top.
Adrammelech is the closest thing to Bahamut in this game.
Sadly Adrammelech is weak while Bahamut is a strong summon.. I can still remember using him at FF8
Exodus was the most impressive. Giving me some Odin meets Zeus meets Judeo Christian God vibes.
Also: They all feel like Final Fantasy was taking a cue from Lovecraftian horror
Zalera vs SMT Nocturne Matador would be interesting
