Should have set like 2-3 cameras up on tripods aiming at the front, side and a nice angled shot then line up all the clips of each type of entry and show how each are different, how the car acts differently from each, etc... could get a lot of cool information and it would look more "scientific" or such. :D love you vids bro
Used a feint entry on my shit box awd automatic audi through a hair pin corner and it was probably the most rewarding feeling I'll ever get out of an audi I can deff see why rally guys love the scandi flick
Something that has helped me with improving my feel for weight transfer was modifying the water cup trick from Initial D. My version uses a half empty and dried up pack of baby wipes that sits on my dash. The speed the pack slides at will depend more on the violence of your input rather than the speed of your vehicle. While this is more useful for full grip/racing, as a way to develop smoothness, it does help develop your sense of the vehicles balance for great exits. I hope that wasn't word salad. As always, rock solid info. Maybe increase the size for your foot camera so it's easier to see exactly what you're doing next time. I'm glad you did simultaneous interior and exterior shots. Keep preaching the drift gospel, brother! Lol
writing my first novel(non eng), i'm on this racing scene and this clip really helped me understand different types of drift techniques. thanks for the illustration!
I’m building my first drift car and just starting to learn to drift. I have experience using the clutch doing burnouts and donuts but don’t know the technical stuff and this helps a lot! Just to understand how to move the car where you want it. I watch all your new stuff but these are gems bro! Ty
I'm definitely gonna use these tips to reach to my dreams! I've always wanted to Join FD and drift with the big dogs. Especially owning a RB26 BRZ! You should make a video of how to do a reverse entry and explain different types of methods to do it! That would be epic 🤘🏿🚗💨
Heck ya! That’s awesome dude. These cideos will definitely get you a quicker start and make sure you don’t miss the basics. We’ll add that to our list of videos!
@@HaugenRacing nah, I'll definitely wont miss the basics. I got it down on Forza but it's time to take it down to the real world! Epic I'll see that video right away!!!
I know the feint entry as the pendulum turn in rally racing. It seems like the same exact turn just different terminology maybe? I’m new to drifting but it’d be cool if a skill like that translates well. The weight transfer of a pendulum turn is so crazy to feel
Depends man! Speed, angle, type of corner, It really just depends man. Out of all of them the most easiest really is a clutch kick, master that and you're solid.
What do you mean? Anyone can drift or race if they dedicate some time to it, even if you are really tall or really short or whatever, nowadays we have enough ways to make it so that anyone can fit and comfortably do almost anything

You're trolling right? didn't see any pendulum turns in this video. also you're supposed to start on the inside if you're doing a skandi flick - or in this case, track right.
I hope this helps you learn to drift like a SAVAGE! Please subscribe. We upload 3 times a week ✌️

I’ve ridden along and I agree this entry is the most fun!

Basically the principle of it yeah!
What would you say is the best way to initiate a drift?
Depends man! Speed, angle, type of corner, It really just depends man. Out of all of them the most easiest really is a clutch kick, master that and you're solid.
@@HaugenRacing I think that as well, the only problem, doesn’t clutch kicking screw up your car?
@@sleepingturtle32 if you do it too harshly i believe you will wear down the clutch and need to replace it

Thanks fam 💛❤️💙
Glad I found your channel man. I'm just entering the drifting scene and so far I've learnt a lot from your vids bro. Much love man 💯😎
Appreciate the vid bro
Scandinavian flick is basically a power over with some style beforehand no?
I like your content and style, nicer editing would be appreciated. Some clips are confusing af.
Thank you man! We’ll work on it 🙌
@@HaugenRacing Thank you for the awesome content, brother.
Ok this video gives me more knowledge about how to drift better
I thought when i saw your vid titles youre a pro drifter in games. But till this vid shiws up
Great video man👌👌👌👌
Thank you fam!
Have been enjoying the beginner friendly tutorials! Keep it up!
Awesome! I hope they help
Maybe clutch kick makes a short life for your clutch and that's a reason why a lot people using handbrake?
Is it possible to do a handbrake clutch kick combo where you put the clutch in and handbrake and then you rev it up and drop the clutch??
Absolutely. I pretty much do that most times I clutch kick lol. It’s become habitual. But yes that’s a great technique imo
Loved this video!
Can you do a video showing us how to manji?
Already filmed and coming asap dude 🙌
Thank you
nice
I came from cars the pixar movie
is that jumpsuit available to purchase or is that just for you?
I understand🙌
Heck ya!!!
What kind of car this was?
Hey man, I just wanna say your video help me so much, plus my own mentor teach me the same way like you. Thank you so much. 1 subscibe from me. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh this is too cool! Makes me so happy. Keep shredding my friend 🙌
very first drift technique I learned. cause I got a FWD 06 Nissan Altima (‘^_^)7
Aye haha. That’s awesome 🤣
Brake drift too
Another banger ❤️ you mentioned speed, but would you say this technique sets you up for the biggest potential angle as well then?
Hmm. Hard to say. It depends on the corner. I want to say yes. But sometimes handbrake is necessary
What would you say makes for a good drifter?
Car or driver?

go look at drifting cars in japan and you tell me if the culture is hurting cause last time i checked they all drive tin cans.
