Does anyone remember two videos ago when he said he was glad he got the chance do do one more steer? Little did he know, he’d got to do lots more. Congrats, man! I’ve been following all runs and I’m incredibly happy for you
Massive props to the editor on this one. Even though I watched it live and knew everything that was going to happen, you made sure for us to be able to relive the same intensity of the live stream. The zoom ins, the cuts, and the CHAPTER TITLES, my god you knocked it out of the park with this one. Congrats to Jan on this unbelieavable run, and thanks to PChal Daily to let us experience it in the best way possible!
One of the most underrated aspects of Nuzlocking is being able to steer your way out of incredibly stressful situations. When you do a stressful nuzlocke, being forced into a corner sometimes makes you feel so small. It’s easy to blame the luck, it’s easy to blame the RNG, but good nuzlockers are able to find their outs. Obviously planning comes first, and a good plan should avoid steer whenever possible, but sometimes life deals you a bad hand. This was an absolute master class in adapting on the fly, and steering right to the end. What a fantastic end to the most entertaining Run & Bun series on TH-cam. Cheers! 🥂
@Goldeneye3336 do tell us o master of the run and bun hardcore nuzlocke what Jan shouldve done to make this steer better. I can think of a couple points of contention but in all of those he still made the correct play
This entire run was a testament to the saying "exactly what you need". Not once did Jan get more or less than what would carry him - beaten, bruised, tired, but never broken - over the finish line. And I wouldn't have it any other way. Congratulations, Jan. You've certainly re-affirmed your seat at the table.
Almost down to the 'Mon. His box was SO thin, SO fuckin thin. And Dragapult single-handedly saved it, imo. SO many fights only possible because of Dragon Darts, Draco Meteor, the speed and the excellent typing.
@@Claricio Not a bait. He needed togekiss for calc plannings. He had plenty of lines with Togekiss in. Like a lot. 8 Mons in his box where E4 potential (4 always, Absol and Cress are the flex spots here).
To the last mon, to the last move. Absolutely snatched victory from the jaws of defeat. What an absolute legend. Congratulations. Will always be the best nuzlocker in the world to me
What i miss from the vod is when he talks about associating our own projects to the run. That line surely hit me, as these dailies have really helped me during last year of university and im a psychologist now. But ive also seen people in reddit who this run has also helped dealing w death, anxiety and trauma. On the other hand, i also red a pair of parents who gave birth close to the beginning of the run and associate this w the growing of the children. Thank you so much for the content in my name and in the ones of all you have helped
Why are you even looking at the comments if you don't want spoilers tf? OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS FFS Beating this game on Attempt 5 is already an insane achievement let's be honest, but with the absolute mess of a box, the unfortunate losses, just enough good encounters barely keeping the run afloat and the myriad of issues that have plagued this attempt, have made ot quite possibly the most entertaining run of pokemon I've ever seen.
First to win E4 without a fairy? In only 5 attempts? Goddamn, Pchal. Ggs. This was the most fun watching a nuzlocke I've ever had. The strats were insane, it always felt like you were fighting the game when it came to rng, and you still came out on top. Portrayed incredibly well for everyone. GGs man.
Dude as a long time viewer even before the Emerald Kaizo days, that win was earned. Even if people are doing more nuzlockes these days, you will always be the GOAT in my eyes. Dont try to hard champ. May your future endeavors be fruitful.
Spoilers in my comment, I hope I can hide it by going down far enough: This video shows about 10 minutes of the Suicune, Jan was stuck on it for about 35 minutes live. It was the absolute worst demon of the whole run.
I mean scald high roll into 25% ice beam into 10% freeze into 10% scald again is all you need to see, I think I would've accepted that god just wanted me to lose at that point, dunno how tf Jan pulled this off.
I'd like to make the case to reinstate Jan as the community considered greatest nuzlocker in the world. Why did prouty's deathless EK succeed? Hundreds of attempts with the same ethic "this pokemon is required and good. If we dont get XYZ Pokémon then we reset until we do". Whereas pchal in this very run saw dare I say 70-80% of the encounters being sub optimal with NON STOP GARBAGE IVS. Pchal worked time and time again with insane strategy to overcome the tools he was given, rather than crying and starting over to get better tools. So I ask this. Is the best nuslocker the person with the most patience to reset for things to go exactly as planned? Or are they the one who overcomes incredible odds through the most intelligent adaptability to their box and situation. Pchal is the greatest nuzlocker of all time. An unofficial title by dedicated enthusiasts that he modestly surrendered, which i feel he deserves to wear again. Well done on the run Jan. We're all proud of you.
Honestly, the GOAT doesn’t have to be the best of today. Look at Smash, how many people consider Acola the actual best at Ult even at #1? The GOAT of that game is still Leo, Jan is still the GOAT of nuzlockes imo. Others may rival him, but he’s still up there with those who have won faster, or more difficult runs. He doesn’t have to be the best right now to still be the best, and maybe after the break following Run and Bun (playing vanilla games to remake the nuzlocke tier lists) he’ll trailblaze some more. But he is, he absolutely has been the GOAT.
@@noahsnurr8559the first attempt on paper is more impressive. But having watched the actual run from start to present, you'd have to bury your head in the sand to ignore the massive amounts of comments on the run saying he got so lucky and comparing him to Pchal. Matti even complained about people calling his run easy because of encounter luck and rng. He's had the best encounters in almost every route it mattered and been saved by rng so much. This run here with Pchal was crafted on pure intelligent planning to overcome terrible encounters and terrible ivs. Goat
maybe not the best nuzlocker in the world but this may very well be the greatest nuzlocke ever beaten. I don't know anyone else who could've put together such consistent cookeries with such ABYSMAL luck in terms of pokemon. and there wasn't too many complete mega dogshit RNG moments in the fights either, it felt like the game gave him the absolute bare minimum to make it through without fucking him over with really untimely RNG in fights (although Wallace/Drake looked like it was getting there lol).
From such a cursed run that was constantly on the edge of being sent back to the truck. It was one hell of a ride. Well done Jan, and hell yeah you earned your seat at the table. You're one of the best Jan, and no one can take that from you.
"Nah I think I just die, I think it's just over..." --------------------- "𝐈 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐭." Jan, you are the best Nuzlocker ever, idc what anyone else says about other streamers, and you shouldn't either. Good shit pChal
This was... actually one of the best youtube series I have EVER watched. Entertaining through and through. It's amazing how a silly little game like this can do so much for so many. Keep up the good work!
it's kinda crazy. During these 4 months I've broken up with a girlfriend, lost a family member and moved to Sweden to start my masters. I cannot understate how grounding it has been to watch you beat pokemon run and bun Jan. Cheers everyone x
Probably my favorite part of this is the excitement that comes out in the final four turns, but as early as Cress hitting the para The seriousness of the first three fights turned somberness of Drake and the majority of Wallace, into sheer nerves before the euphoria of seeing the win realized It’s corny, and it’s basic human emotion, but the confidence in which he started explaining the line after the popoff fills me with so much joy
1000% thought he was done. We were all there praying for a para right along with him and there's no way I'm the only one who let out an audible yes To that para landing. Absolutely incredible ending to The most resilient, gritty Master class run of a nuzlocke I've seen
@@snafoo131 I was in the stream too, DMing friends as I watched, I’ve never felt such a roller coaster of “it’s so over” to “we’re so back” lmao Felt like watching EK 151 live again, to an even stronger extent
The genuine joy from Jan's pop off when he saw liquidation didn't drop the defense, when he saw that main menu screen pop up, it just brightened my day. I always watch these in the dark because they're true cinema
The editor's chapter titles on this video are fantastic. The run was incredibly hype, and seeing Jan deal with a mediocre box overall with a few insane encounters was really impressive (salazzle my goat). So many clutch moments, a ton of love and respect to every mon who sacrificed themselves to help continue the run. I'm emotional over this ending, and seeing the steer on Wallace fight was fantastic. Thanks pchal for giving us incredible content and I look forward to seeing what you'll run next
If these two fights beating you down and not giving you a break until the very end where you get the absolute minimum to see it through isn’t pitch perfect for the whole run idk what is, beautiful
Attempt 5 is absolute peak, from shitty encounters to getting Pult, some MasterChef classes and also steering the hell out of some dirty situations. I really, really love watching this channel, Run & Bun has been a pleasure to enjoy. What a rollercoaster it was!
OMG, these finals were so FIRE and fitting to this run! Was engaged for the entire run and am so happy you made it! You were the first Nuzlocker I watched and inspired me to go Nuzlocke myself (currently RenPlat) and I still get so much joy of watching your vids and doing Nuzlockes myself! Keep doing what you're doing!
This was just absolutely pure fucking cinema, Jan crying at the end is surreal. What a fucking amazing run. What a return to form! Holy fucking shit!!! Just fucking awesome. Love it
Don't know what to say, just happy for Jan. Champion fight I couldn't even look on the screen the whole time and my paws are sweaty - just by watching. Even if you are not the best anymore, you sure are the GOAT!
To be honnest, that run was very entertaining (and very hard on your calc side), but even with all those entertaining situations, the most entertaining part was really you Jan, great Job and a big thank you for that
As soon as he switched his plan on the Suicune and said "I think I have to smash again" I knew from experience it will be a rollercoaster (just like in reallife) 💀😂
When I saw the Part 1 intro I was sure it was a spoiler. Todays episode was a rolercoaster. Showbusiness at its finest. What a cook, what a steer, what a show! Im so happy you managed to dodge the "fiction".
After watching the daily stream highlights for the last few months I was yelling out every pokemons name as it needed to dodge crit/fiction. Your endless hours of work to cook brilliant lines are greatly appreciated. The memories you make with each pokemon along the way to the champion are the true joys of a nuzlocke, some cheat death while some are cheated by ficition. Enjoy your victory, I am beyond excited for the new game plus run. And remember, thats why he's the goat.
"who would win between you and run&bun?" "Well, if I never got a full para, and cresselia got frozen, and manaphy used tail glow, I might have some trouble." "But would you lose?" "Nah, I'd win."
Watched this live and came back to watch it a second time. You talked about how we all have projects we were doing that we're going to forever associate with this run, since it's taken so long and been so substantial, and that's true. But it's also true that this run is a legend itself, and I will remember it for itself, and I cannot think of a more excellent ending than this, which hit me so hard I've cried every time I've watched it.
I was there live, so intense and there certain moments where I thought 'we wipe.... fuck' but you overcame it all and this has been such an experience, and watching you grow too!! Got the Win, so happy for you man!!
"pChal, you are... you have absolutely been the goat. You are the best nuzlocker. There's no doubt about it. F*ck Moxi, f*ck Squerk, f*ck them all. See ya, my man. Manscaped, NordVPN."
I think this is the most intense E4 I've ever seen in my life. The back to back Drake and Wallace fights had me rooting for you the whole time Jan, no matter the odds. Congrats man ❤
Jan, I’m not at the end yet, but I’m watching the Suicune fight and I’m absolutely stunned at how much knowledge and how many ongoing odds and possibilities you’re able to juggle at any given time. You’re crazy smart, dude. Huge props, you always impress me. I think you ARE the best.
i usually dont follow youtube series like that but this nuzelocke was one of the most exciting things I've ever witnessed. Kudos to you Jan you really deserve that win!
The Drake fight really gave him the finger, but this man pulled through in the end. Looking forward to the five-hour video for Run and Bun on the main channel. Well played sir.
Congrats on the successful run man its pretty rare to find people that think about Pokemon strategy at this depth and it's been such a pleasure to watch you perform. You were the first person I found that was able to entertain, in the strategic department, my caliber of Pokemon player and I'm sure quite a few others out there too. Respect given where due lol. Congrats again man.
i fr cried when jan shouts ALL CAPS WHEN YOU SAY THE MANS NAME. It’s like Urshifu could hear the crowd of chants from chat, and gives a thumbs up before jumping in for one last aqua jet. Legend.
This was a ride. I watched ALL of these videos of your run Jan. These were the joy of my days and I always waited to see a new one. You are one hell of a content creator and a player. Mad respect! Congratulations 🎉
What a ride. From the beginning the run was cursed, getting mid to bad encounters for most of the game. The game gave exactly what was needed, then Hera died and it seemed over. The unlikely run savior of Polt came early and the Bear came to give the run hope. All the way to the e4, and the cooks for the first 3 were splendid. It is no e4 if something does not go wrong, and hell did shit go wrong. Risky line with outs but it cost the safety net for the champ. To the final 2 mons, down to 2 attacks of rng, and the game let up and finally rng was favorable. (how many para chances were there and not 1 hit...). Congrats man, what a ride it was.
"I may not be the best anymore, but god damn will I earn my seat at the table" is such a raw line

Can’t believe Jan’s run ended to winning the whole run.
Congratulations 👏
Cheers! 🥂
It really speaks to Jan's skill that he multiple times thought he was going to lose in the Wallace fight and then still managed to pull a win.
pchal is the god level steering nuzlocker, he was the og with the most experience before we started using calcs. still #1 on that.
Not at all. He dodged a lot of bad RNG on 5 fights. He had 50% chance to wipe on a lot of random switch ins.
He won because of luck tho lol?

I'd make a "now watch this drive" joke but Jan didn't bring GW Bush to E4 despite prioritizing saving him during the final battle.
all according to plan
He was baiting making people think he was bringing GW bush
@@ClaricioI think he actually needed togekiss for the fight too, to kill the kommo-o

I know this isn't what you mean but now I'm imagining the parents named their child MF DOOM and I can't get it out of my head
THAT WAS THE MOST CLUTCH RECOVERY I HAVE EVER SEEN! I’M CRYIN’ WITH YOU, BRO! COMFRATULATIONS, JAN! YOU’RE THE BEST THAT’S EVER BEEN!
It's been a wild ride, love that this started in March and now it's September.
Why are you even looking at the comments if you don't want spoilers tf? OBVIOUSLY SPOILERS FFS
Beating this game on Attempt 5 is already an insane achievement let's be honest, but with the absolute mess of a box, the unfortunate losses, just enough good encounters barely keeping the run afloat and the myriad of issues that have plagued this attempt, have made ot quite possibly the most entertaining run of pokemon I've ever seen.
Rng gave him just enough of what he needed to scrape by until the next split. It's been a wild ride
Need to put SPOILER in the beginning of the comment
@@M1sterE321why would you even go to the comments? Obviously they’re going to be about the results
I can’t believe this ending, with his shit encounters weeks ago I was saying he should just wipe and restart
@@RealJB003 the top comment still shows up automatically when you open the video on the app, if you arent actively thinking about that.
GGs man.
Squeak did a fairyless E4 before him.... nothing to take away from the goat obviously
@@ultimateaaj2921both squerk and pchal are kings but Kappanivia is the first fairyless e4
@@noahsnurr8559 Yes I was gonna say this as well
I actually got chills when I got to 29:18 and checked the chapter name. The pChal editor cooked so hard with that.
Dude as a long time viewer even before the Emerald Kaizo days, that win was earned. Even if people are doing more nuzlockes these days, you will always be the GOAT in my eyes. Dont try to hard champ. May your future endeavors be fruitful.
Spoilers in my comment, I hope I can hide it by going down far enough:
This video shows about 10 minutes of the Suicune, Jan was stuck on it for about 35 minutes live. It was the absolute worst demon of the whole run.
I mean scald high roll into 25% ice beam into 10% freeze into 10% scald again is all you need to see, I think I would've accepted that god just wanted me to lose at that point, dunno how tf Jan pulled this off.
Wooooohoooo! 11pm every night I sit here and watch from Australia. Every night the content is worth it! The GOAT.

What a roller coaster man, very few TH-cam videos have had me hopping outta my seat like that. Such genuine joy for this man.
I popped off when he got that para on Manaphy.
Flygon is the true GOAT imo especially if he beats rnb on Attempt 1
HES TOP TWO AND HES NOT TWO THATS FOR SURE
Even the ending was cursed, and yet it was still the little run that scaled

Exactly. His fans are yapping too much. He isn't even top 5, you are such a glazing clown
Sheeeesh what an ending. Can’t imagine the emotional toll losing to Wallace would inflict. Man deserves his flowers!
It went all down as soon as he said "I have to smash again"... but he steered and holded!!! (damn, sounds like my life dude 💀)
"We're living on borrowed time the clock ticks faster" is cold as fuck
This was... actually one of the best youtube series I have EVER watched.
Stop lol.
Probably my favorite part of this is the excitement that comes out in the final four turns, but as early as Cress hitting the para
The seriousness of the first three fights turned somberness of Drake and the majority of Wallace, into sheer nerves before the euphoria of seeing the win realized
It’s corny, and it’s basic human emotion, but the confidence in which he started explaining the line after the popoff fills me with so much joy
1000% thought he was done. We were all there praying for a para right along with him and there's no way I'm the only one who let out an audible yes To that para landing. Absolutely incredible ending to The most resilient, gritty Master class run of a nuzlocke I've seen
@@snafoo131 I was in the stream too, DMing friends as I watched, I’ve never felt such a roller coaster of “it’s so over” to “we’re so back” lmao
Felt like watching EK 151 live again, to an even stronger extent
Yeah, that's literally the whole run in a nutshell
Attempt 5 is absolute peak, from shitty encounters to getting Pult, some MasterChef classes and also steering the hell out of some dirty situations. I really, really love watching this channel, Run & Bun has been a pleasure to enjoy. What a rollercoaster it was!
Man, getting to watch this finale live was so much fun. Getting to watch rewatch it here was just as good despite knowing what happens. GG Jan.
I spent half this video thinking it was over. Haven’t been this hype about the ending of a TH-cam video in a while.

WHY AM I CRYING OVER A POKEMON GAME ON A TUESDAY MORNING
Because you are a clown?
When I saw the Part 1 intro I was sure it was a spoiler. Todays episode was a rolercoaster. Showbusiness at its finest. What a cook, what a steer, what a show! Im so happy you managed to dodge the "fiction".
Absolute. Fucking. Cinema. MF DOOM you're a goddamn hero.
Hell yeah, congrats on the run to Jan, and kudos to the editor, especially for the intro to the E4. Looking forward to what the chef cooks up next.
Thank you for the past couple months. Goated run.
I'm so glad I've been following this run since Littleroot Town - what a marvel to behold. Congrats, Jan!
Can't believe the champion cooked jan in a german way that's to explicit for youtube to say

Looking forward to the five-hour video for Run and Bun on the main channel. Well played sir.
Congrats on the successful run man its pretty rare to find people that think about Pokemon strategy at this depth and it's been such a pleasure to watch you perform. The TTS message at 31:36 will be iconic now.
*insert speech: "it's not over UNTIL I WIN"
[Episode spoilers]
The fact that the last 2 battles was as tense as EK's. I can't fucking believe it. Shit is insane.
This has to be one of the most emotionally attached I've been to a run, and one of the hardest endings to watch. Congrates Jan aka Pchal
