Not sure if you know this by now or not, but at 4:54 that's called the Flehmen response, it helps them smell better and you usually see it done by mares that are in season or stallions/geldings who have smelled a mare in season. super cute horse!!! i would just recommend getting a doughnut for your martingale they are about $2 and it connects both pieces and keeps it from sliding around.

+NightRaven Alchemist actually the snaffle bit they bought, which is a single jointed snaffle, is the kind of bit that produces the nutcracker effect. so when you pull on the reins, the rings (Dees on this bit) will be pulled back and down, causing the middle to pinch together and point upwards to the bars of his mouth. double jointed snaffle or French links do not do this.

They are almost a standard piece of equipment in many shows and therefore are sometimes used when they aren't really needed. There are certain restrictions on when you can and cannot have them. I'm not a hunter rider so I'm not well versed in the rules! They can be used in the the jumper ring (stadium only competitions) but they aren't very common. They are prohibited in eventing in all phases and levels.

Please don't use your cell phone at the gas pump(my husband's job is to work with fuels) it's not the gas that ignites it's the fumes. Phones ringing, getting a new text or just using can cause just enough of an ignition to start an explosion. Just wanting everyone to stay safe. Again nice horse, I'm a sucker for bays.
please use something on his legs!! i dont know why people in america dont really use tendon boots or bandages, its very important to protect the legs!! besides that he looks great (and is very cute haha)

I live in America and we do use boots or polos on our horses😂 At least I do. But not all horses need them, I have a horse that does just fine without boots nor polos. But I do understand where you are coming from! Better safe than sorry!❤️

When we tried him the trainer did use one on him, but just because he didn't use one with his previous owner doesn't mean that we can't use one now!
