13:44 ... this incredible moment .... the clarinets and the flutes, these four guys ... my heart's breaking ... recalls me to the best times of my life ........... thank you
This is complete and total adoration of the legendary conducting maestro, Karl Böhm. I have never seen uninterrupted ovation for EIGHT MINUTES, and he came back on to the stage FOURTEEN TIMES! I have NEVER seen SO MUCH LOVE for a conductor! I truly wish I could have met this man.
12:43 from here, absolutely delightful. Karl Böhm at his peak. Sounds a bit like Carlos Kleiber ....... (and this not a tiny compliment in my mind !!!)
@@ruicao9805 The string section failed to play the three staccato notes on beats 2-3 and 4 in unison and at the same time they were watching the conductor, who was giving a minimally clear beat indicating where the downbeat of the measure was. It was an uncomfortable moment for the entire ensemble, I’m sure, but as any musician knows, once it is done, you must continue playing. So many great musicians have made recorded mistakes that will live forever. Oh well oh well.
By 18:25 they were all whispering about it to each other in the brass and wind sections. I would be surprised if any of them had the courage to say anything to the cellists or violists. They might have had their heads chopped off. It was nothing that could not be fixed with a few glasses of sake at dinner.

I can't stop playing the last 4 minutes.

They played this piece for Encore. Amazing! This was played to all Japanese fans as a sincere gift. Thank you, Maestro Böhm!
Fantastico de principio a fin.❤
13:00 VPO anno 1977 , is this BEAUTIFUL .... the most poetic orchester of the world ....

Uninteresting.
Böhm + WIENER philarmonik+ Beethoven 5th and 6th + Leonore as encore = classical music orgasm.
I dunno. I think that the audience liked the performance. Right?
not in 1977
I'm not sure if your comment is a reply to someone, but are you saying this isn't from 1977? if not, when is it from (month/year)??
@@tominrochester my comment was referring to the number of women in this orchestra in 1977
@@Gralsritter oh ok- do you happen to know what month in '77 this is from?

Are there any women in the orchestra?
