What's the best tasting hot dog? The Two Bald Guys try 8 different brands like Eckrich, Sugardale, Oscar Mayer, Nathan's Famous, Ballpark Franks, Bar S, Shoppers Value and Hebrew National and rank them. Plus they try weird hot dog toppings suggested by the audience!
I've never been a hot dog fan, but bought some Nathan's once for my husband. I cooked them on the grill, but before I got done, he had to leave the house. One broke, so I thought I'd just try it before he came back. I wound up eating 3 of them, naked (the hot dogs, not me lol), straight off the grill. We didn't eat normal hot dogs a lot growing up, usually having bratwurst, knockwurst, or kielbasa instead. My favorite toppings for hot dogs are yellow mustard, squash relish (sweet and tangy flavor), and shredded cheddar. Swiss cheese and kraut is also good :) Coleslaw is only good on a chili dog, with mustard, cheese, and chopped onion.

Bright Leaf hot dogs are my favorite with Bunker Hill chili , mustard, and onions.
Definitely agree, guys. Nathan's Famous is by far the best. The only hot dogs I buy. By the way, I also recommend the Nathan's Famous french fries.

Bar S hot dogs are in the same category as Sugardale hot hogs - if you want your recommended daily allowance allowance of salt in a couple of bites, buy those!
Nathan's is good but sabrett is amazing need definitely try them

My favorite is Lil' Smokies when I can find them. I am not a huge fan of Nathan's or Hebrew national. They are OK, but not anywhere worth the price.

Hope they gave you the beef oscar Myer because they have so many different ones but the Angus beef are real good also sabretts is good

The best hot dog toppings are Heinz 57 (NOT KETCHUP), Brown Mustard, Sweet relish, and coleslaw.

Nathan's will always win. They're the best, only to be challenged by sabrett, which unfortunately they didn't include in this, otherwise it would have been a tie.

I used to like Kahns because they were mellow but meaty, but I can't find them anymore.
the beef hotdogs are soo damn greasy. i just stick with sugardale and the local natural casing pork ones from my grocery store. good review my dudes!

koegels is the best hotdog period.
Eckrigde has bones in them and they are crap. Sugardale is better crap. Nathan's skinless beef and Hebrew National are pretty good. Ballpark are alright but only if you get beef not meat.

I love Nathan's Famous, but I don't love the massive amount of salt in each dog.
Don't worry about salt, worry about sugar. My blood pressure yesterday was 95/58 and I put salt on everything. I just eat low carb/low sugar.

Sugardale sucks, Nathan's are overrated, ballparks are good, but you haven't lived until you have tried a Koegel dog!
