The "Work on another part of the comic" advice is definitely valuable. I find myself doing that often, especially thumbnailing upcoming pages. The nice thing is if I've thumbnailed a page ahead of time because I was having an off day doing "proper" drawing, it ties into the "come back to it later to see if you can improve it" bit as well.
These are great and so are the emails, every bit of enthusiasm and helpful advice helps, comic making can be kinda isolating so having someone poke at you with some boost for confidence really helps. Thanks 😃
Do you have any advice for people who are stuck in the planning phase and just keep redoing everything over and over? Also people who procrastinate and tend not to work on things at all.
I have a video coming out very soon that should help, but make a 6 page comic (either brand new or a 6 page section of your comic) and give yourself 60 days to complete it. 60 days is long enough to get everything done but short enough to not afford you any time to procrastinate. I have a Discord that you can join for free (or through my Patreon) linked on my channel if you want to join our community of comic creators.
