- This is our experience with @emirates from their inflight experience (amenities kit, Polaroid pic, tons of food), crew (always with a giant smile and very courteous), and even the slightly outdated Boeing 777 but still very nice.
The flight was from Lahore Pakistan with a 23.5 hour layover in Dubai, then a technical stop in Athens Greece before continuing the journey to Newark International airport. The reason they make you walk so much at a half-way stop is for you to get some circulation going and not getting DVT.
The walk ended up being quite refreshing!

Yea it is a long flight. Which is why we enjoyed the technical stop to break the 14-15 hours
Do you prefer choosing window seat? I don't know whether it would be good as it's a 18hrs long flight. Im 5'10"
Wait ! What?? They don't let kids board first,outside Europe??
Kids older than 5. For example, in the United States, they have priority boarding with kids under 5. The minute they are over, no more. Where as we have traveled extensively in Europe and everytime they wave us in or even if we are in line, the other passengers tell us to go even though our kids are 9 and 10

No you do not need a transit visa if you are not leaving the airport.
they ask Schengen visa on a stop in Athens?
No, this is a quick layover whee you go through security and they check visa for your final destination.
