Hi, im travelling business class can i take a laptop bag along with a suitcase? The weight allowance is 14kgs. On the emirates site it says that people boarding from india can only carry 1 item with them in the cabin

Can I carry a laptop bag and a small suitcase as cabin bags if the combined weight of both does not exceed 7 kg? However, it is mentioned on the Emirates website that only 1 bag of 7 kg is allowed. Kindly share your opinion on this.
I understand but if the weight is combines 7kg then you can carry a laptop bag, that's allowed because you cannot carry a laptop or camera along with other hand luggage as it may damage these sensitive goods.

But I want to take 157+157cm, do they strictly check the dimensions of the bags?

If they don't allow any cabin bags, you will not be allowed any. You could call their customer care for further clarification.

Yes you can. Because laptop may get damaged if you put it in hand luggage. Stout laptop bag must only carry your laptop.

Hi i have a small doubt.
In my emirates ticket the check-in bag dimensions are 150cm. But the trolley bags are 162cm will they accept my luggage else i need to pay for that extra dimensions of that luggage.
But i will carry the weight 23kgs only

As luggage allowance and dimensions for Emirates change according to the destination and ticket type, I am not sure what exactly is allowed in your ticket. @@shivanics4570 The total dimensions (length + width + height) of each piece must not exceed 150 cm (59 inches). You'll be charged an additional fee for any individual items exceeding dimensions of 150 cm (59 inches), up to a maximum of 300 cm

You can completely skip selecting a seat. You will be assigned a free seat at the airport when you take your boarding pass.
Hey, I’m going to travel on emirates in this September, as they mentioned size of the bags was 150Cms(L+w+h). Does this really matter to check the size of the bags. Is there any chance of exception till 10cm?

There is no chance of acceptance for even an extra inch. But all these matters if they really check your luggage. We were very particular about the luggage size when we went to buy those. So to avoid any confusion, it's wise to go with the airline's guidelines.

If you are travelling in the Emirates then your laptop bag is also included within 7kg.

A person going abroad from India can carry foreign exchange in cash up to the US $3000 equivalent as per the limit set by RBI. So following this rule, you can carry as much or little as you want. For me it was a just a 2 hours layover where most of the time was taken to travel from one terminal to the other. We were just able to buy few stuffs from the duty free counter at the airport.

Hi the baggage dimensions cannot exceed 150cm as per the instructions in emirates but the average dimension for a checked in baggage(large) is around 157cm and this is what I have too, so can I proceed with the baggage which exceeds by 7cm in dimension? Can you please clarify
Emirates have strict guidelines and for that you have to buy a new hand luggage that fits Emirates's requirement.
