    I have this type of Token BB for my Winspace frame. I like it. have not had any problems with it. The one I received did not come with the shims but instead came with a 2.5mm spacer.

    Thank you for you informative video! I see it is packaged with the bearings already inside. Is it possible to get the bearings out?

    What is the process if you have to remove this full BB? From this video it appeared that both sides had normal threads, tightened to the right, so I assume with tools on both sides it would loosen to the left. I saw your other video of replacing the bearings. In

    To minimize any BB creaking noise, Threaded BBs all day compared to PressFit BBs right?

    • @swites
      @swites 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Depends usually on the roundness of the carbon finish on the frame. Many frames(even expensive ones) aren't machined that well which causes pressfit BB's to creak due to an unround hole and poor fit.

    great explanation, why do you put the shims on the BB sides? Cheers from Italy

    • @panagisloukatos7799
      @panagisloukatos7799 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The shims will protect the frame from rubbing with the tool or the CNC notches of the BB. Mine did not have the sims, only the spacers. If I had them I would put them because I don't trust the CNC finish of the 16 notches.

      @@panagisloukatos7799 thank you. I had some problem to fit the Ninja (very hard to install), but probably was the fault of small diameter of the BB on my frame

    I'm thinking to do this for my Trek (BB90, junk of a BB), I can see the Pros but are there any cons? i.e. the bearing is too small etc?
