Ah, Tainted Forgotten, my beloved. He's just such a silly little guy to run around with, and the sheer amount of synergies he has by effectively a) having two bodies and b) having one of those bodies be invincible is. Unbelievable. He's also the most fun gnawed leaf character ever, in an incredibly bizarre way.

Sacred heart is a 2.3x damage multiplier. It did a lot today, especially with the flies.
Orbitals are amazing on tainted forgotten.

I would add, besides the bombs, that the bones have the ability to buy items, which is pretty annoying
Invulnerability, like with the polaroid, affects the soul, even if there's no visual indication for that
Fun fact: fractional luck has no effect. Anything that isn't a whole number doesn't count, and Eden has an incredibly small chance (I think around .2%?) to have a luck stat that isn't effectively 0.
T forgotten + ipecac is my favorite synergy now lol
Those flies were pretty juiced after two damage multipliers. I've never seen this character, it's pretty wild.
I may finally be ready to buy the entire Isaac package seeing it take a pro ~60 hours now just to unlock/play the main chunk of this game through once... It could officially take years for a casual gamer to 100% this beast.

Placing bombs can work well if you get a bunch with a bomb item build and drop em after throwing.
At this point i think the odd range up behaviour on Forgotten melee swings is probably intended.
It ain't perfect for sure, but it still hasn't been "fixed" for something so potentially major on entire characters.
i definitely would have taken cluster bombs with glitterbombs already just to try and turn my bomb reserves into more keys but understandable to not wanna bother with that
There is a way to summon the bone like back to you! It’s this character’s Birthright effect. Birthright is one of the best items in the game pretty consistently. I think there are only three or four characters where it’s kinda mid but it’s never a bad take.
Base Cain comes to mind for mid Birthrights.
A golden Key every floor and better Arcades is only... okay. It has it's uses, but it's not overwhelmingly powerful, especially if you don't have things like the Crane Game unlocked.
@@Seeker_of_Truth_and_BeautyBlue Baby is also mid- any hp up item will give you two soul hearts instead of one. Yippee!
Tainted forgotten is probably my favorite character with the only contenders being normal/tainted lilith. That being said throwing can be sometimes annoying, especially against highly mobile enemies. Shame recall is a birthright effect, but i can see why they didn't include it in base package. It's easy to see that game consider flight to be tier 3 on it's own considering that transcendence is on third level and it doesn't have any other effects.
