Moin, I recommend the Pferdskopf, which is in the Röhn and you can also walk from there to the Wasserkuppe, which is also the highest mountain in Hessen.
Germany is a beautiful country. I spent some time in the town Willingen Germany and that had a beautiful country side as well. Never heard of the Hoherodskopf Moutains so it was interesting to see it on this video. So glad that the 2 of you can spend this time together in Germany, while your young and full of energy, to enjoy all that it has to offer. Have to say your two dogs were very well behaved while near the sheep. I was surprised they didn't bark when being so close to strange animals.
Germany truly is beautiful, most people don't understand the beauty of the country until they get the chance to visit. :) Honestly we are shocked that our puppy Heidi didn't bark at the sheep..she's never seen them before until then!
Hi you two . Ah yes the Vogelsberg. I live in the Wetterau district and can see it from my apartment. It's about 30 km from me to the summit. You absolutely have to go there in winter. It's like in a fairy tale. And there is also a specialty in their restaurant. "Beulches". Do you have to try it? It's really delicious. Go on like this .
Thanks for sharing the outing. Do learn to ski that hill, it will make getting thru the winter easier and the mountain has its own beauty in winter, if clear and sunny visibility even better for far distances. Looks like you can row thru the gears in the car now that you are accomplished stick drivers.
We definitely want to try skiing out, especially since it's so close to us! In the states, skii slopes were a few hours away from us in Charlotte so we never really went. We both feel a lot more comfortable driving stick! Going uphill still makes us a little nervous though ahah.
Nearby?
Germany is full of beautiful and spectacular places. Even if you would visit one sight every weekend, you wouldn´t have seen all of those. As a Homer I recommend the Eifel region in West Germany. If you decide to go someday, call me up for some recommendations and as a tourguide. ;-)
We do plan on making a video once we get them! But so far we have taken our eye exam and next week we are taking the required first aid course. Once we do that we can turn our papers into the license office and take the exam (and hopefully pass lol).
@@cobblestoneadventures1129 Mine is from Florida, I have to do pretty much what your doing, I had to register with a driving school, paid €309, the exam I have to pay separately, just take the theoretical portion
Wenn ihr mal ein langes Wochenende in Richtung Nordwesten macht also an die Deutsch/Niederländische Grenze (Osnabrück Richtung Grenze zu den Niederlanden ) dann besucht uns mal , J.+ A. .
I live 602 m high and Hoherodskopf is 764 m high and I don't live in the mountains. You will learn that the alps are the only mountains in Germany and everything else are hills.
No, the Alps are a Hochgebirge, while Schwarzwald, Bayerische Wald, Harz, Rhön, Fichtelgebirge and such are Mittelgebirge. Elevation is the definition 200-1500 meters and 1500 and above. The English language does not have a differentiating term for mountains, except the word hill .
Nice they haven't ruined the sight with plenty of wind turbines like they did to the Hunsrück Mountain range or here in the lower rhine area.
Hiking my favorite activities. I do a lot in America not as much now.
We want to go on some hikes and bring the pups with us before it gets too cold!
You guys are the cutest!!!!!❤
Thanks!
Güten Tag ihr Schäfe!! 😁😁

Ooh okay we will check it out! Danke :)

Nee nee - 1 Schaf, 2 Schafe, 1 Schäfer (shepherd), 2 Schäfer, okay?😉 And Hörödlstopf? 😂But you did meet the challenge, super! Liebe Grüße!
Ahh ok! Vielen dank :)
Finally rain! The summer was too dry. The grass should be green, but it's already dried up in the pasture.
We definitely needed the rain for sure!!
I was there two days ago. Very nice view and a delicious bratwurst.
We will definitely go back and try their food next time!!! It’s a nice way to spend the day
Greetings from France...currently traveling but still checking in on a Friday
Greetings!! Thank you for the support 🥰🥰❤️❤️

Nearby Willingen there is another ski area: Winterberg.
It's around 2 hours with car from the central of Frankfurt / Main.
We will add that to our list! :)

Shitty weather, autumn is coming! :(
But it could also be a very cosy time and season! ;)

Beautiful region, maybe one day you come to the schwäbische Alb and visit Burg Teck. 😊

Currious what you doing to get your German driver’s license????

@@cobblestoneadventures1129 Id be curious how much you have to pay, im in the process of getting mine. Greetings from Frankfurt am Main
I believe it’s about 45€ for the written exam. Our USA license are North Carolina so luckily we don’t have to take the driving exam.

Ridiculous! The Hoherodkopf is a mountain per definition.
