Enjoyed the video and I’ve always liked this quote by John Deere: “I will never put my name on a product that does not have in it the best that is in me.” ~ John Deere.
Very good quote, and very true. Thanks for watching👍👍
Now thy buy components from the cheapest suppliers (China) and when they fail charge as much as they can to replace it.
Laughable really, seeing he stole most technology , then put his name on it

Awesome video, love hearing your voice, you keep everything interesting and professional! Another great video from Locust Motor Works!
His name and the dependability as well as durability of the equipment is still doing the work in feeding and clothing the world. Thank You John Deere.✅️✅️💯💯💯💯💯⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
I'm from Rutland, VT. There's a historic site marker in the city park where he was born. There's another one in Lecestier, VT and another on the Middlebury Green where he had shops. He proved leaving Vermont for the midwest was a huge success. Great content, thank you.
Thanks for watching, appreciate the support👍🏻👍🏻
I had looked this up once. It was a great refresher. Keep it up!
Thank you for watching👍👍
When you look at John Deere today a worldwide company had very humble begining. Nothing Runs Like A Deere
Pretty easily done, when the other companies do the research, and Deere steals the technology
Do have stories about the 4040 tractor
Hope to get to it one of these days, Thank you for watching👍👍
Very interesting. Learned a lot. I could've watched more.
Thanks for watching👍👍
Thank you! Very well done! I'm looking forward to more info. I've grown up with JD A's and still own a '45 A.
The best tractor ever
egyett értek de,kédezd a magyar gazdákat ök annak idején mire voltak büszkék MTZ 80, 82 ek.akinek ilyen volt az menö volt nagyon.
You got blue tractors, orange ones, red ones, silver, white, and even yellow ones, but nothing runs like a John Deere green one. Spent many an hour of my youth running Deere equipment. It's the best.
Very true, Thanks for watching 👍👍
Same here.
Pity john deere yafe discontinued the plow the origin of the greatest company in farm equipment
Excellent history about an important innovator.
To bad John Deere is going to stop making mold board plows.
Need more
Nothing runs like a Deere. If it ain't green... It ain't mean!!!
I enjoyed your video. I grew up on a farm in Alberta in Canada. My dad was a John Deere man.
If it ain't green, it shouldn't be seen.
@@joemueth4077 ... Or if shit is red... Leave it in the shed

My 5075 has an engine made in India
Hi
hey
Great video...and as a fellow JD fanatic, I thought I knew everything there is to know about John Deere, but after watching your video I definitely learned a few new facts. I live about 10 miles from the Erie Canal, south of Rochester, NY, and never knew he traveled out west on the canal...very interesting! I also never put the timeline together of his death and the fact his son really took Deere & Co. to the next level of manufacturing.
Awesome, glad you enjoyed👍👍
Wow, this is a very familiar video... Its like almost a carbon copy of my one from a few months back 😅
Odd how you forgot that John Deere left vermont running away from his creditors, to start over.
Also how you forgot that John Deere moved in with another blacksmith of the area, who was the actual inventor of the self scouring plow
evidence ?
Don't be a hater.
@@ronblack7870 read the book on John Deere, and read the book on the history of the plow
@@joemueth4077 truth is not hate
Funny how I've read your posts on just about any agricultural manufacturer and john deere is the only one you talk trash, you've talked down on just about everything with john deeres name on it .........starting to think you are you own problem..think about it before you reply because I know you will.
