One of my friends got a Metropolitan earlier this year and has absolutely loved it. This is a great video. Love seeing the two of you work on something together.

Wrapping is like learning a instrument it’s takes lots of practice to get it just right but when you do you will know you got it! It’s not easy. I still struggle sometimes!

That LED "headlight" is not a good idea. Not being able to aim it means it's always going to blind oncoming traffic. LED bars like that have too wide of a spread angle on the light.

nice bikes Drew! I've got a Ruckus too, stretched a bit, but with stock 50cc GET motor :) btw, we call them Honda Zoomer and Crea Scoopy. same everything but names of these models are different for USA and Japan/EU market
That Ruckus is a damn cool build but it sounds like it's a bit tired in the low range. UNI podfilters and smaller Mikuni carbs are a mess to deal with on low cc fourstrokes sometimes, probably has to do with the angle and lenght of intake tubing in combination with pretty much unrestricted airflow.
her's is definately cooler... but yous is louder for sure, the only thing i saw, or was that heard :D, yours sounded like you had a little lag/flat spot when you revved it. maybe a little mixture tuning might be in order
That was cool, scooters are fun in the tighter urban areas. Just don't want to get out on major roads with them, wind blast off of a semi or such can be "interesting" to say the least..
You need a heat gun bud, you may have been able to convince the wrap around the speedo bezel with a heat gun, also it’s easier to probably just leave the panels in place, cut around them once it’s wrapped
I gotta disagree with you on the front of the ruckus. I really want a ruckus close to that setup, they are awesome. But I'm a fan of the clunky front ends......thanks for a change in pace.

It's good to be able to make the best of these times with you and yours. I made my 9yo a custom gaming rig for xmass and we are gaming the holidays away. Hoping to get out to fly yet too, but I'm in the great white north so its not as easy in winter.
@@LeDribFPV it very well could be. But if it’s lean and you lean it out more you could melt the piston. Airing on the side of caution, always suspect lean. Better air filter, better pipe equals more air in and out at a faster rate. That equals a need for more fuel. It could’ve been jetted before you got it. But again always jet on the side of caution and suspect it’s lean. The two conditions at there extremes almost sound identical. And being from a camera and not my own ears. The best it’s sounding is lean, that and given the mods it has already. Just my thoughts, it’s safer this way. Ask me how I know 😁 plus if you add more fuel and it gets worse there’s zero harm. Maybe a fouled plug. At that point I’d go the other way. But only a couple of jet sizes either way. If you go up two, and it’s wrong. Then go down four. Two either way. You’ll know immediately if it’s right or wrong. It’s running and driving so it’s really not that far off. Just has the little cough/hesitation on initial throttle. If jetting gets it better but not great, the carb is most likely just too small with the air flow the engine wants. At that point go straight to a Mikuni.

I woulda kept the old lights with the LED, I like ditching the wide blinkers that break on trails anyway

I had a 2012 ruckus I bought new and stretched. Never did the gy6 swap it was slow as hell but fun
