I had a Black one 83 that I rode for years and years! I rode it across Canada out to British Columbia even! The bike was a solid little tank! My buddy that rode with me out West had a 750 Virago Yamaha and lol he begged me to ride mine half way across as the Shadow has the Over Drive gear (6th) and his only had 5 speed and that one extra gear made the ride so much nicer and smooth plus I ran at least 40Kms further to a tank! LOL.....
Where did you find the side covers I have the same bike can't find one side for the battery. I've got tick in mine i need to find out. It runs great just took it over 700 miles no problem. But very loud tick.
