I think it shows a bit of a re-imagining of their respective "falls"; Yves leaves first and drags Chuu along with her, both Yves and Chuu bring Go Won with them, Olivia is left alone and isolated. The lady is probably a stand-in for the Christian god and the castle is Eden. Perhaps when Olivia falls in her own music video it's less about her falling from grace and from Eden, and more of a betrayal (I believe we see Yves very briefly in Egoist). The other three girls leave, and Olivia tries to follow but is unable; she returns to the castle/Eden and is congratulated for her compliance and submission by her authority figure (i.e. God), but is ultimately alone.

At the end, when they enter the forest and descend to 1/3.. Olivia who was lost fell further. She was the fallen angel who had an absence of colour due to her detest for all that she knew.
So in egoist the "basement" is literally the bottom world of OEC. Olivia starts ascending.. and ultimately as she reaches the top (where Yves was shown to be looking down at her fall.) She took in and accepted her loneliness, and made it to the 1/3 world.
Heejin who had also been ascending behind her to get closer to Eden in hope of a colorful world then runs into her.
Olivia comes face to face with someone who she can trust, and befriend.. and Heejin finds someone to help her with her own boredom and loneliness. They are mirrored, in their conviction for something better than what their lives gave them.
This would also then place everyone in the 1/3 world for the final yyxy subunit video, and that means Loona Full Moon would be able to appear at the end.

I Also agree this subunit hit me emotionally the most of the three, there's something about the vocals.. and just everything... People expected Yves and Chuu to run the subunit, but Gowon and Olivia really hold their own as artist and it shows.
Olivia is definitely going to crush sexy and girl crush concepts.. And egoist really held back her range.
Gowon, not surprisingly is another STRONG charismatic dancer, but she's not the norm. She literally is a refreshing and youthful feel, compared to most dancers who give the feel of urban and "swag". The blonde really adds too that princess feel, and really suits her bright personality
Yves.. i mean she's visually just crazy perfect, but she is a total triple threat that seems to get even better every time you hear something about her.
And Chuu.. I mean she's like. Chuu can do no wrong!💔 Vocally im obsessed, she's so fun to listen to.. She is so bubbly and energetic and just happy about making it into Loona for her supporters and for herself... and it shows.. and in doing so shes like a reminder that all these girls worked SO hard and made it.
I really thought OEC was put together the best to cover the others weaker spots..but no yyxy could literally be a 4 person group, they all balance each other out and work so well..! I cant wait for the live stages, and a full loona 12 stage! My heart is so happy!

I think Olivia was the kind of student who always wanted to be perfect, but the other girls rebelled. The other girls were scared of Olivia ratting them because she always wanted to be the best student, so they didn’t see that Olivia wanted to be with them and escape with them (only Gowon saw it, a little).
I think Olivia was also scared of being out of the world of Eden, were there are rules and structure, so when we see her in the woods, it always looks scary (but when we see the other girls in the woods it’s fun and happy and joyous).
The way I see it, the girls excluded Olivia because she was always trying hard to be the perfect student and they were afraid that Olivia wouldn’t go with them, and you tell the teacher/director/whatever.
But Olivia loved them, and wanted to be with them, so she felt abandoned.
I think this MV happens between the first three solos and Egoist. Being Egoist a result of Olivia’s feelings of abandonment.
Well, that’s my take on it. I really think it was a misunderstanding and the other weren’t trying to be mean to Olivia, they were just scared.
I would love to see a theory video.

Olga Sorgini I think Gowon was the only friend of Olivia, if we see the lyrics Gowon says something about a friend, is the only one to look back and in the logo we can see that Olivia is connected with Gowon and only with her, in one and only we can see Gowon like the red hiding hood in a scene and we know that Olivia is the wolf

You singing the Gee intro over the intro of this song made me smile so much my face was just short to explode! The song is so similar to Gee and Very, Very, Very! I love it!
In terms of order. This song probably takes place after Go Won’s song, but before Olivia’s song. I wonder what was their reason for leaving out Olivia though. When you see their facial expressions around her, they know she’s there but they ignore her.
So that's why Olivia burn Yves animal plushie and also the unit uniform outfit, because Yve only talk and focuses on Chuu and Go Won my heartu broke 😣😢😭💔

The song is so so so sooooo amazing. It's so different, funny and unique. It's like they don't follow any patron that your brain is thinking they will follow, and that's what I love. There's no typical melodies, but crazy melodies. I don't know if normal kpop fans will like this, because it's just a so so weird song, that not everyone will be able to appreciate. I just can't stop loving it. The 4 girls' voices work so well together, none of them is behind the other. My babies Go Won and Olivia are so cute oh my god :(, I love this song so much, I just started crying in this moment kkk, I'm so happy that I found these girls, it sounds ridiculous but they have given me so much happiness all these time. When I feel depressed I can listen and watch them and I just forget about everything else, they always look so happy and beautiful!

I was a little disappointed with the MV at first. It was too pure and innocent compared to the theory at the end. However, the more I watched the MV the darker it gets and you can really feel the loneliness of Olivia at Eden. T^T poor Olivia, I wonder what would be their repackaged.

I noticed in the music video choreography particularly in parts like the chorus that Yves, Chuu, and Go Won look like they keep “hiding” Olivia or “Blocking” her from view. I also noticed that this music video seems to be some type of an analogy for the process that the girls for went through in order to become members of loona. You see that their actions are being scrutinized at every turn as if they are trainees trying to catch the eye of an entertainment company, and when you think about it this probably isn’t too different from what Olivia went through the last member to be chosen. She at some point probably had to watch the other three get picked before her and at some point was probably unsure about her future with the group. You kind of see that in the dance break as the other three members disappear while she’s the only one left.

I feel like no one is paying attention to Olivia at the beginning standing alone in the forest. The juxtaposition of the happy and Olivia looking angry af alone in the woods is really effective and gives a creepy element in this video. This song is a parody/satirical piece on korean girl groups. Bbc got snsd's producer to make a gee-like song, got grimes to do the tiffany "let's go!" intro, and got them trapped in a castle where every movement is controlled. It somehow captures the tensions inside a girl group production, of being stuck in between the certain and uncertain in particular; of a rosy world outside if you bite into the temptation, vs the promise of success if you remain clueless inside.
Another thing: the song is actually about their love for Eve/Yves. The names Adam and Eve originate from the latin names "Adan" and "Eva". So if you check the lyrics and switch love4eva to love for eve/yves, then the music video will make more sense. They all are intrigued by what keeps their classmate yves happy even when she's being reprimanded. Yves, who offers an alternative to the school life, opens up the girls' perspective of the world, which gains her a following due to her radical views against school. But olivia stays, and gets outcasted by the group. This is a common occurence to friendships in a high school setting. So i guess this is the kind of love they wanted to show for yyxy.

It seems to be a prequel, but anything past that I'm super lost as to what the story is, it seems they all had a part to play with the exclusion of Olivia but Gowon looks like she's a bit more hesitant to leave her much like she was to leave Eden, and it also seems like Yves as expected, started the whole rebellion thing, we love a rebellious lesbian queen 👏

I was scared when I heard Grimes, but its A BOP AS USUAL! It just made me sad when they left Eden(the castle place) and just...LEFT Olivia like that. I'm guessing the woman who was inspecting them was God? (holy shit BBC made God a woman hell yess)
The difference between Vivi and Olivia is that Vivi was accepted by loona 1/3. They hung out with her and didn't purposefully avoid her. Loona YYXY are actively avoiding Olivia and don't like her. You can tell by the way they look at her when she walks into the room, also they know that she's in the same situation as them but they abandoned her. That's why in egoist she's angry and burning everything to get revenge. She burns the cygnet because she blames Yves, who convinced them all to leave. Unlike Vivi's Everyday I love you when loona 1/3 is there singing with her and hanging out with her.
