Jesus christ guys, don’t you scare me with a comment like that! Prior to watching this reaction video i was like: “oh god, are they not liking one or more of the mv’s? Is it going to be cringy watching em trying real hard to not say anything bad or so”, while in reality they liked every song in the way that it fits the concept, just not personally anything they’d be vibing to. I myself didn’t like some songs at first, but being an Orbit and eager to understand some connections between the mv’s (which escalated) made me actually appreciate and in the end now love every single LOOΠΔ song. But that might only be me. :) :D

There's another song by Loona 1/3 that's *not* a B-side, but a second title track they released. It's called Sonatine, and it's a very classical type of song. I'd recommend watching that, and also The Carol, which is technically a B-side but has a full music video - actually, a lot of their B-Sides have music videos, but lower budget and without any lore-related content. The Carol isn't really low budget, and I'd consider it a full music video. It does link to their lore, and you will miss certain references in a later MV if you skip The Carol. There are some references to the Sonatine MV in a later MV as well.
The next unit only has 3 members + 2 title track MVs, so if you want you could throw Sonatine and The Carol at the beginning of that one?
Avoid too many spoilers if you're the type who doesn't want to be spoiled. Do try to notice connections when you can, but I've seen a few people go crazy on trying to notice connections to the point that they didn't even notice the music, so you don't have to go that crazy on the connections haha.
Heejin's tone and pronunciation always reminds me of something I would associate with European aristocracy, and I love it.
9:05 The complete shift in video is partly cause Around You was the first time Loona filmed with Digipedi (who also did their other solo and title song MVs) while Heejin's MV was still by VM Project ^^
And the location of the plane in Iceland is called 'Sólheimasandur plane wreckage', they filmed on a couple of other locations there too, but that's the only one really identifiable.
You really have to watch these a lot to catch everything tbh, sometimes even specific frames contain something you completely missed before :P

Also, please continue to give us your full opinion! We absolutely do not expect you to love every song, especially when you're encountering a group with such a diverse discography.
there's so much i want to say to inform you guys but how do i do that without writing an essay? anyway, some of the info is in the mv descriptions, teasers, and captions the company posts on social media. We also get some info from the mv production team, digipedi, or the girls themselves. But i want to make clear that a lot of it is still fan theories!
LOONA 1/3 is from earth! Or well, the plane that we currently exist on. They're more of the typical high school girls finding themselves and having innocent crushes with how their story to the loonaverse is portrayed.
Odd Eye Circle (2nd unit) - middle earth or we could compare it to the upside down of Stranger Things. The members are finding their true colors, and are more abbrasive when it comes to love. They'll take the first step.
yyxy (3rd unit) - eden or upper world. the members are escaping a perfect world, they're curious and want to be themselves, tired of the strict and polished lifestyle that is in eden.
Heejin. animal - rabbit. mv - filmed in france. color is a sort of a hot pink.
the start to the loonaverse. There was theories suggesting Heejin was the creator to the loonaverse, but then that would suggest she was a higher being to whom created Eden (where the unit yyxy resides in). Her music video "vivid" brings color to world, we also get many lil easter eggs foretelling of the future members and units. An example is when Heejin is sitting at the dining table and there are two colored laps, yellow for hyunjin and green for haseul!
Hyunjin. cat. mv filmed in japan. color is yellow.
There's so much we can grasp from Hyunjin's mv yet at the same time we're almost empty handed. The scene in the beginning to her mv where a vase is dropped and she then checks out the door to find a bracelet-- it connects to future members!! I don't want to get ahead of where you guys are at but, i think the showcase of the bracelet begins to show us a timeline of sort. Her connection to other members outside of LOONA 1/3.
Haseul. white bird. mv filmed in iceland. color is green.
Haseul is believed to be having an internal battle with herself as seen with her "boy" version of herself. But why does it look as if she killed it even though it was a part of her? There was a theory suggesting that the haseul that belongs in the LOONA 1/3 universe lost the battle to this more darker version of herself. It does seem to be where she has a realm of her own besides being on earth! This is proven as we see her in another member's solo mv, (the same location of snow yet black surrounding, a whole realm on its own).
Yeojin. frog. mv filmed in taiwan. color is orange.
There has yet to be confirmation as to why Yeojin wasn't included in a unit but word around said it could've been b/c she had to focus on her studies. Anyway, the three "princes" we see are said the be alluding to the three wisemen- or kings baring gifts! Some have even suggested the frog was only a front to something darker. In the loonaverse, Yeojin ends up lost in a forest that we find out through an mv description for LOONA 1/3's "sonatine" which is where the LOONA 1/3 members go to hong kong looking for her. Another connection to a future member is made, another point plotted to the endless loonaverse timeline is created.
LOONA 1/3 - "Love and Live"
There's so much in this music video to grasp. We find out that vivi is an android living like a regular student, going to a normal high school. We finally see all 4 LOONA 1/3 members living a very normal and realistic life on Earth. Vivi also seems to have a sol "odd eye" and that is a reference to a future unit. So some theorized Vivi was originally a member of another unit. I'll stop there but for future note: we do see vivi in future member's solo as well!! Meaning, in a whole 'nother world. Anyway, by the end of the mv, we see that Vivi runs out of battery but instead of shutting down-- she's breathing!
Vivi. deer. mv filmed in hongkong/south korea. color is light pink.
Now vivi actually has two music videos, the songs very similar to each other. The one you guys watched is a homage to the korean girl groups during the 90s and early 2000s (as is most of LOONA 1/3's music). The music video for "everyday I love you" is theorized to be the other loona 1/3 members helping vivi regain her memories from her life before being an android, as she wasn't exactly an android to begin with.
That's the most i could condense and i hardly made much sense but i've rambled too much to delete it now lmao. Thanks for reacting! Can't wait for the next part.

The starting members of the group have more subtle music and themes but once you guys progress to members like Kim Lip, Yves, and Chuu, things get a little crazy. Clues are found everywhere so try not to focus too much on the music but the connecting dots. Which members are in a video? What are their respective animals? It all links together. So thankful you guys are looking into them! Stan LOONA.

in fact, there are 12 members in Loona and Vivi is the only foreigner (she is Chinese) so in loona 1/3 love and live shown how Vivi wants to make friends with everyone, but she is not like them (and Vivi has a lot of haters...especially among fans-orbits)

I don’t know if Lily mentioned this, but LOONA officially don’t have assigned positions besides leader ones. This is because the company wanted to present the members as being able to do any position. However there are some things certain members excel at certain positions, so orbits kind of guess/theorize what they would be

Man I dunno who my fav girl is... Every time one of them is on I think that's my fav one. I'm a simple man. =P In the end though, it's gotta be Jin Soul. But y'all aren't there yet. When you do Odd Eye Circle I beg that ya don't skip the song "loonatic" No special reason, I just think that song is f'n dope. The lore of that song and girl front in the lyrics is cool too. Ya do Girl Front and then Loonatic. Loonatic is kind of a strange flip of Girl Front. Many of the same scenes but there are differences in those scenes.
YeoJin is the / in Loona 1/3. Loona 1/3 is from Earth. YYXY is from Eden and Odd Eye Circle is from some world that's in between Eden and Earth. Odd Eye Circle are the girls who can travel between dimensions and the worlds who will bring all 3 units together. I'm no expert on Loona though, I just dig them.

Some fun lil Easter eggs/plot points/cute things in the mvs you guys watched here that I really liked:
Well first off, it's just really interesting to note that the company had all the solo songs ready first and THEN had auditions and picked the girls based on finding 12 artists that fit each of these characters portrayed in the mv and their songs' styles perfectly (which is how Olivia Hye; the 12th and last girl; had the shortest training period in kpop history with 1 day before she debuted because she just fit their last solo song SO WELL when she auditioned. Plus at the time of Heejin's mv most of the girls in loona weren't even selected yet, they were all cast to play these characters, which must have taken a while to find the perfect fits lol)
Heejin:
She basically created the loonaverse... or at least how we see it today. All the girls start to come together because Heejin painted their boring previous world with color, which is what the song is about and also why the mv is so gosh dang colorful lol but yeah I like to kind of think of her as the "Adam" before Yves (who comes in later and I've got TONS to say about her arc lol) came along and brought a lot of the other loona girls together.
Hyunjin:
Nothing too lorey in this one but it's definitely the one with the most emphasis and parallels any of the girls have to their animal, she's pining over her crush and following him around and watching him but not doing much besides that, acting just like her cats.
Haseul:
Haseul's mv is mostly devoid of colors so we can assume this story happened BEFORE Heejin gave color to the world. So the base of the story is that the blonde girl dressed in feathers is a different version of Haseul that she makes the decision to kill. The song is the biggest hint to her story, she sings about losing herself and becoming too much like this other person that she meets (possibly a love interest) and becomes so much like them that she doesn't know who she is anymore, I always assumed she was killing this other version of herself because she didn't like who she became because of this other person in her life. Basically reclaiming her sense of self.
Yeojin:
The meaning of this song is probably one of my favorites because it's written for a young girl and the style fits Yeojin SO much. It's her talking about being in a relationship with someone she really likes but rejecting kissing her significant other ("kissing later") because she's too young and isn't ready for it. QUEEN OF TEACHING US CONSENT! IS! IMPORTANT! Which is a topic that we don't see talked about enough 😤
Vivi:
On the cassette tapes you can see the other members of 1/3's solo album covers. And the male actor in the video is actually now the leader of onlyoneof, loona's "brother group" that just debuted last year and trained under BBC but moved companies so BBC could focus more on loona.

Now I can't say anything about the lore yet without spoiling the odd eye circle and yyxy story lines and there isn't too too much that ties in with the overall plot anyways... but I will mention Vivi being the absolute cutest and sweetest here keeping her whole locker full of juice boxes for her friends even though she can't have any of them being a robot and all lol she's really out here trying her best so much that her battery runs out on her on her way to go do shit
welp... I spent way too much time on this because I love these girls and the loonaverse a little too much lmao hope someone enjoys or learns something new at least 😂💙
There is so much to uncover on Haseul's video actually! It's suggested the yellow truck we see at the beginning is Hyunjin (yellow is her representative color), Haseul looks bored suggesting Hyunjin is the one forcing her to seek the truth as Haseul represents a white dove which is a symbol of peace, so she must choose between peace and harmony or learning the truth about the Loonaverse and gaining knowledge, which is why we see her ''other self'' with a bird-like outfit and short hair. She ends up choosing truth and kills her other self aka kills the peace. That results in her losing Yeojin (the next girl to be revealed) and she gets left behind in the forest resulting in her not being part of 1/3 because Haseul chose truth over peace, therefore also losing the person who brought her peace, Yeojin (although she is not present, she represents the slash between the numbers and leaves them incomplete). Haseul and Yeojin's relationship is mother-daughter-like so when she loses her she gets extremely sad, which is likely the reason why in the description of Jinsoul's Singing In The Rain MV they mention she spreads rain everywhere she goes.

Loona members and company boss said in many interviews, unlike many kpop groups Loona makes songs for the world, not for a specific audience. People don't have to like all our songs.
Personally, I'm music lover, I've listened to many songs from a lot of genres from different countries and languages, and I was looking for a group that can make more than just "one genre", and Loona is perfect for me. You never know what they will make next time and that makes the group more interesting.
Loona like in any other music group have instant bangers, and other songs that you will need to listen to many times to like it, or kind of stop listening and go back a month later and you will love it.

I know the person that helped you had the best of the intentions, but to experience the loonaverse in its full you should have seen the videos in the order they were released. Love&Live should come before Vivi's video. She was introduced in the unit before her own solo song, so it surprised the fans, that were expecting to see the 1/3 unit with Yeojin instead of Vivi. We first discovered that she is an android, and after we see her past memories in her solo video.
